If Twitter is to be believed, then Waghorn to us and Simpson to Millwall seems a dead cert.

I feel sorry for Simpson. He joined us when we were rubbish then got dropped when he started to come good.

I can't say I've seen Waghorn play and Leicester fans say he doesn't link with Fryatt at all so it's a strange move for me. Why didn't we just put better bids in for CMS or Charlie Austin instead of getting Mclean.

    Ho Hum.

A dead owner. History doesn't count for anything, it is precisely that...History. If you're being pedantic, the average is only 24.5k <ok>

If you've traditionally been a big club, have a big catchment and are getting 24596(being pedantic) in the second tier and your owner is dead but has left the club in the hands of descendants who are self evidently continuing to invest in that club, then it's likely that you'll still outbid many other clubs in that league.

It certainly looks like he wants to come to us, it will be interesting to see how much influence he has over his own movements.

Leicester people on twitter seem to think he's coming to us on a permanent but that may not be true.

    We won't match Southampton's £2m (if that's true).

Definitely seems like he favours City, if he wants to come here and Leicester want him out, there's a good chance Waghorn will be a Hull City player

If Bert says he is coming to you then he is coming to you. Bert is the all knowing one.
Don't get to excited though he's not very good. Bit worse than Fryatt i reckon.
By the way Fryatt novelty wearing off yet <laugh>

I'm pretty happy with his 10 goals in 26, better than any of your strikers <ok>

Seriously if Waghorn does sign for you he will probably be the best of the 3 players you have from us. Certainly the one with the most potential.

Yeah loks like we are getting waghorn according to a few people on Twitter - but also mentioned is Derrick Williams - young centre back from Aston Villa reserves. Anybody else heard anything about him coming?

I'd be surprised, he's highly regarded but he's only just 18.
