I would take him here, but I can see there being better financially backed clubs vying to sign him (rather than bigger clubs). I would only take him as back-up/competition anyway. If you analyse him, he's not much better than Ritchie, and goes completely missing far too often.
And with an attitude that can stink. Great footballer at times but not often enough and would never hold a position in a Rafa team.
A luxury we can ill afford. Could and should do more in games, and appears to turn up infrequently when it matters. So, that would be a No, however, should he rack up here, discard anything I have written, as it will be to my usual standard of crap.
Naa he's decent but We just don't really need him and the money should be spent better elsewhere. I.e. on Kennedy...heres hoping anyway
If he is gonna work like he has for Lambert then great. He’d certainly add a lot of quality. Him and Rondon will be massively sought over though. The latter has 16.5m release clause. So for 31m and a shed load of wages West Ham will get two good players. That is the type of location I can see them heading. London and West Ham pay top class wages for some reason. They are both great options for someone but I think they will want too much for a club like us and I wouldn’t want us blowing our budgets for someone Shaqiri. I do like him though, he has a Grade A left boot.
He's got good quality and would be an excellent No 10. He's ok wide but is too creative to be stuck on the wing. I would love to see him playing off Mitrovic / Perez / Gayle / Slimani, keeping Ritchie & Kenedy wide.
