    Because the referee's a ****er; we've established that <ok>

Mick Channon has a runner in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket btw. Dan's Dream, 25/1 with Paddy's and B365.

The last minute penalty to beat West Ham was soft. Very soft in my view. I'm not saying it was on a par with the Watford handball (no way was it), but it got us two extra points that on many other occasions we wouldn't have got.

We were able to beat Bmouth in part because we had Yoshida and Romeu on the pitch, neither of whom should have been there (due to somehow escaping second yellow cards at Wembley).

Well at least we have all realised we've actually had the rub of the green and luck all season :)

I'm actually on your side in relation to the time issue, but he did say first half.

I don’t gamble anymore, I quit after I backed the Gold Cup & GN winners. Left on a high.

Is it a correct stat that only Man City and Man U have won at the Liberty this season? Read it, but not checked that out.

What was Yoshi's first yellow card for? I watched it a load of times on MOTD but can't work out what it was for. He didn't even seem to touch him.

You're way way less likely to remember bad decisions which favour you though, we remember the bad ones because the sense of injustice is strong and that emotion gets tied to the memory. They might not have been so obvious but I'm sure there have been little fouls which could have been given in the lead up to some of our goals this season. If we had a rubbish squad I'd be more tempted to agree but our squad is clearly good enough to stay up. We've just underperformed massively and had a terrible manager.

Now I’ve calmed down after yesterday’s excitement...

I think a draw was a good result for us. It forces us to go for the win at Swansea.

Relegation play off final... We win we stay up!

    No more second chances.

Lol I suppose you've reffed loads of games and know how easy it is? I haven't, but it looks pretty hard and high pressured so I prefer not to go round slinging mud. You have to make hundreds of decisions in a game (and only make 1 mistake to get criticised), posistion yourself on the pitch and never get a replay to look at. You on the other hand get countless replays and analysis on the basis of which you decide they are 'embarrassingly awful'. I'd to see you ref a prem game I bet that would really be 'embarrassingly awful'.

But at the very least we should expect refs to be fit enough to keep up with the play. The ref yesterday was way too slow, as Hughes rightly pointed out.

TBD stand for Tom’s Body Double?

I haven’t ever reffed a game and have no interest in doing so, don’t see what that has to do with anything and is the usual argument of morons. I am not a professional referee, it is not my job to like it is theirs. If I ****ed up in my job as regularly as they do I would expect to be called out on it. There is a reason that no British refs have been invited to the World Cup, it is because they have been **** this year compared to other pro refs around the globe.

I too am a qualified referee............and qualified to a higher standard although not professional............It is true in the professional game there is a vast difference and things tend to happen a lot faster and out of sight. However a ref should never make a decision if he does not see it clearly.
That is why you have assistants when things happen just in front or very near them you rely on them to advise you. In a professional game one would assume that something happening in front of an assistant he would advise by lifting or not lifting the flag.
I watched the referee in replays of the game and the Ref in my opinion could not have seen a foul clearly from his view point on several occasions. On each occasion the assistant had a better view but did not raise a flag. (Fouls for and against Saints) So it was clear to me the ref was blowing for what he thought he saw rather than the foul itself. Yoshi's first booking is a classic Ref mistake again in my view.
Not wanting to speak up for the referee but maybe he could have done with the help from the assistants?? Although I also ask myself ....would he have taken any notice I wonder..........

I agree it was a very poor clearance and it should have gone into row Z. However. This was the 96th minute of a match where the team, including Ryan, had busy their balls for the cause. Nobody has commented yet about the 96th minute sprint and determination he showed to try and get to the ball, when it was Favourite to roll out of play. It is difficult at times in the heat of battle, particularly at the very end.

This from a player who apparently “cant be arsed and hasn’t been trying.”
