Redmond #confirms what I said about Everton's foul free kick

Southampton goalscorer Nathan Redmond: "We should have taken three points. I didn't think I made a foul in the corner and they took it forward another 20 yards."

It's actually the bigger gripe than the time tbf .... moss called it from 40 yards away when linesman is 2 yards away... then its taken from 15 yards up ....

You wonder why he wouldn’t go with the judgement of a man 2-3 yards away when he was 50 yard away ? ;)

    Bizarre ...except its moss ...

I've never looked at it but there's rumours Moss due to his fitness blows for free kicks if he can't make the run or needs a breather... If Redmond won that ball legitimately then Moss has 40 yards to run to get up with play at the end of the game.....

Conspiracy eh... makes more sense to me than him being bent tbh

I'd say it is simple incompetence and not facing punishments for awful refereeing performances. It is a vicious downward spiral.

I think you may be right but the unfairness grates. The referees here also have some reluctance to blow when a team is attacking the goal. Why not? If the time is reached then blow that whistle. Which the refs in the CL do, no matter where the ball is. Referees must be given more guidance. Why play extra seconds when it would be fair on everyone to just blow it when the second is reached.

Time to put the rivalry aside.

I wish him well with what's happened to him.

Surgery went well, it was announced by Man Utd

#bbcsalford just being dramatic by splashing a headline saying he's needed surgery and then holding back the info that it went well for the full write up

He looked well a few days ago when he presented a gift to Arsene Wenger. Iconic image that too.
