Hypocrite. You'd be the first to say the ref didn't play enough time after one of their players went down injured if the scenario was reversed and he blew up after 4 minutes exactly.
Obviously, the damage has been done over the season: but to be robbed like that, plus the Watford handball goal, plus the other decisions that have gone against us... we have been ridiculously unlucky.
The amount of goals which come from players keeping the ball in in those situations. Compared to from throws it should be row z every bloody time. It baffles me all the analysts haven't worked this out yet? Because the players clearly aren't told to put the ball out.
The only 96 minute games I remember are when the opposition are looking to score an important goal past us. Strange dat.
We've been so much steadier with Maya on the pitch. He leads and rallies the defence. My first thought after he was off was not "idiot" but "we're going to miss him against Swansea". Vin
Seriously? So explain where the 4 minutes stoppage time came from in the first place? And then rewind the game and see how long cedric was actually down for.
Well that's a kick in the balls. Should have won that. Should be in a commanding position in the relegation fight going into the last two. Now the players need to be picked up quickly, dusted down and ready for Swansea. No easy task, and it will be a much tougher game than today. Classic Saints. Aaaargh.
As angry as I am, the additional time was justified. Cedric was down for an extended period and nobody can honestly say the expected the ref to call full-time after additional 4 minutes was up. I'm not saying it hasn't happened to us in the past (because it ****ing well has due to fantastically inconsistent referring in the PL) but if the roles were reversed and we were chasing a point with an Everton player receiving treatment in added time, we'd be absolutely livid if the Ref dared to blow his whistle without taking the stoppage into account.
I certainly think criticism can be directed at Moss. It wasn't a foul by Redmond (in my view), the FK was taken from the wrong place, and I don't believe the first yellow from Yoshida should have been a yellow. I'm much more relaxed about the added time, because of Cedric.
What stings even more is, Everton didn't want that. Their fans wanted a boo-fest at the end, their team looked ****. Coleman is on the blob & the only one who wanted to make headlines was Moss. Oh Moss, you make Roger East look like Collina! Hope they have pinched your wheels & your pot noodle has too much mushroom in it. That game was either too big for him or he's a blue. Feel better now.
Guys cut tom a bit of slack ffs. If Bertrand doesn't keep the ball In that doesn't happen. END OF! Nothing to do with added time etc.
