Will Keane doing the presser with Nige this morning. please log in to view this image Adkins up first... "We've got 24 outfield players out on the grass this morning and, of course, everyone wants to play and be involved. I was disappointed with our performance last weekend, but the lads have been working extremely hard ahead of Sunday's game." "I've got to make sure everyone is fit and ready, but I'd like to think I'll be able to give Dan Batty, who I have high hopes for, some time on the pitch." "Diomande has gone to America now and hopefully he can go and play some games over there. I want Max Clark to stay at this football club and he's been offered a very good contract to remain here. I want him here next season and I've told him that." "Max has come through the youth ranks here and he's valued. We want to help him with his development and help him improve as a footballer. He still has a long way to go as a player, but we’ve been playing him and we value him." "Moses has had one training session with the team. We'll just have to see how he goes today. I'm not ruling him out, but I think it would be a big, big ask for him to be involved at Brentford on Sunday." "I want to embrace and enjoy every second we’re here and what we are doing. It’s important to put my mark on the team, I’d like to think I’ve introduced some good things. Pre-season will be very important." Keane up next... "For me, the end of the season has probably come too soon. It was nice to come back and play a couple of games but I’ve not featured as much as I would have liked. I’m still itching to play though." "Hopefully I can be involved at the weekend, help us pick up a win and then focus on pre-season. I missed out on pre-season last summer through injury, so I need to make sure I'm fit and right. It's a big season for me next year." "I feel good now. I've been training hard and I'm ready for the weekend. I know what I'm capable of and I just want to show that. With an injury-free run and a decent run of games, I believe I can have an impact and help the team." "The manager got us all pulling in the same direction. He’s been a breath of fresh air around the place. He breaks all the games down in terms of analysis, he keeps us grounded and I think we can build on his time here so far next season." "We've got one more game to go this season and we want to end the campaign on a positive note. There's nothing major riding on the game, but we still want to go to Brentford and get the win." The end.
BBC Humberside Sport @HumbersideSport Nigel Adkins confirms Max Clark has rejected #hcafc’s offer of a new contract.
Adkins seemed keen to point out that Clarke's advisor had told him to reject and had been touting his name around.
Hull City @HullCity Supporters who haven’t purchased tickets in advance for Sunday’s trip to @BrentfordFC will be able to pay on the day at Griffin Park. Standing only tickets will be available from the ticket office on Braemar Road (cash only)
He should take a look at Tymon before being so quick to reject a contract and look elsewhere due to agent influence....the best thing for his development would be stay with us and play games.
Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham RE Max Clark and his contract. #hcafc's offer was rejected soon after it was tabled in September. There's been little or no progress ever since.
The tickets are all a fiver more than they are if you buy them in advance, so pay on the day prices are... £30 Adults £24 Seniors (65+) £22 Aged 18-24 £8 Under 18s
Only play players that will be with us next season so maybe we can strike a deal with Brentford and make it a five a side game.
I like Clark as he's a local lad and has also had some pretty decent games but the majority of the time he has been made to look very poor and I think he'd be daft to turn down an offer to stay in the championship. Wouldn't really say he's played well enough to be going to a team better placed than us. If he does then fair play to him and best of luck.
I wouldn’t call him ‘very poor’ at all, but I think it is fair to say that he has a lot of developing to do and I think he’d be sensible to stay here where the manager obviously rates him rather than go to another club who might be signing him as cover for someone more experienced
Well ive lost count of the amount of times this season he's kicked the ball straight out of play when under hardly under any pressure and he gets taken on countless times but fair enough. I'd still rather have another left back come in but that's not likely to happen so I hope he does get a new deal as im not a fan of Kingsley either. On a different note does anyone have an update on how Dave is recovering? back for next season?
I’m just kind! On Moses I think Adkins said he is back training with the first team and didn’t even rule out Brentford, but said it was highly unlikely. So I’d say he’s hoping to be back fit for the start of next season (whether he’s here or not is another matter)
Back to square one at Right Back next season then, another loan for Aina maybe. Real shame about Dave, had so much potential and he would suit the premier league perfectly. Hopefully he can sort himself out wherever he ends up and get his career started again.
