According to my friend, they do it for everyone who is at home and in line to win something. We arent special, or being jinxed here. It's standard practice in the EFL.

Can't they just fly around in an helicopter , over Brecon or somewhere half way . Until the games over , then whoever is second fly there .
I don't like taking nothing for granted .

Why is there a cheap looking tin cup for being runners up?

Didn't they add the trophy because you didn't get anything for second but there was a trophy for winning the playoffs?

It’s bloody reading, Cardiff will beat them 2-0: they cant score or defend, and have given up, what can go wrong ?

You do get something for coming second; you get promotion!!!
What other sports do runners up get a cup?

Bugger the cup - just get the Prem League and Sky to present a £190 million cheque. <ok>

Tennis. Always an award to the runner up at Wimbledon.

I agree with you're point nin, but equally, why would you get a cup for winning the playoffs. You might have finished 6th.

Not saying I agree with it, just looking for the rationale.

I've no idea but I bet they do.

Past glories are all they've got to talk about. If you go on the Leed'ss board they are totally pissed off with the current regime and team.

Decent set of posters though - some good craic to be had if you're not too thin-skinned. If you get upset by the banter (sometimes pointed but OK by me), don't bother.
