That wasn't the point (and it was irrelevant anyway as they used a 'subjective approach to the evidence, i.e. did EVRA feel it was 'friendly'). The point was that they accepted that Suarez stood there in a crowded goalmouth and repeated the word seven times, despite not one other player overhearing that, neither did any of the microphones around the goal, nor several cameras pointing at them. In short, without any evidence, they said that Suarez used the word several times.

 

They concluded that Suarez evidence was inconsistent and didn’t tally with the video evidence, they also didn’t believe that him pinching Evras skin was a ‘conciliatory’ act as he claimed. They therefore concluded that he was guilty based on probability. It’s old news ffs, get over it

 

Yet they had not one iota of evidence to support the claim that he walked around that goal box and said it seven times.

 

They also said in the lead up to the alleged racism that the video evidence showed he kicked his right leg when in fact it was his left leg. It is clear as day to anybody looking at the video evidence. Which leg it was has no bearing on the accusations whatsoever but in terms of a written report and complete accuracy then it needs to be absolutely correct. If it was a medical report, the wrong leg would have been amputated. If they can't report the small things with 100% accuracy, it puts everything else into question.
