https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/tec...-what-happens-next/ar-AAwx09w?ocid=spartanntp This could go down as the most unpopular and controversial thread and I expect to be called some nasty things; so apologies in advance Well it's pretty obvious that there will be too many people around and not enough money to fund a decent standard of living for all those who can't have a job Must be very difficult for youngsters to know what to aim for. "What would you like to be when you grow up?" "I would like to be a xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx". "Sorry that will be a robot job, think of something else" Time to start planning for what jobs won't be taken over by robots. Dreadful times for our children and grand children One obvious long term answer would be to control birth rates. Very unpalatable but when one thinks of the consequences of not doing so, it's frightening. And don't ask me how I would control birth rates; it's not something I would want to consider Unfortunately, another answer is a major war and while I can't bring myself to think about that either, what are the most common causes of past wars? Another way may be for a country to isolate itself and forget imports and print as much money as is needed to provide everyone with a decent standard of living. Importers wouldn't be happy. Only way round that is to find another country (that will use the same currency) we can import from. Maybe a British Commonwealth governed by Britain and looked after by Britain. Oh hold on, is that what Germany are doing? I think the biggest mistake would be for governments all over the World to bury their heads in the sand and allow this dreadful scenario to materialise Well that's then of my twaddle for today. Rubbish as usual
Can't even rely on the sex industry any more please log in to view this image http://metro.co.uk/2018/04/30/first...ctually-lifeless-latex-love-machines-7508725/ I'll advise my kids to learn how to fix the robots that are taking everyone's jobs. Bit like Charlie Bucket's Dad who ended up fixing the toothpaste machine that made him redundant.
Anyone that reaches adult age and has a job that can be taken over anytime by a robot/unskilled + uneducated foreigner has failed at life and deserves to permanently beel about it
2 weeks without electricity and vegetarian tech nerd Londoners will be drinking from toilets and eating rats.
I think the Chinese used to only allow their citizens, one child. New born babies were turning up lodged down toilets and everything lol. I think they've lifted it now, though. I import goods from within the EU and without doing that they'll be more job losses and more businesses go bust. That ain't gunna help the economy.
Let the robots do the work while the rest of us put out feet up, it's a ****ing no brainer. Of course that will require a change in social attitudes, and quite possibly the eradication of all Tory voting right wing ****bags. Small price to pay actually.
It might be good to have sex robots/wives in the future although I fear the repair bills might cripple @A.L.D.O 4.1
You credit us with 2 weeks? Did you not see how some Londoners reacted during the riots? (Sorry, social uprising) We'd be a Police state on lock-down by the end of two weeks, I'd take to the streets with a pitchfork after 2 days without a flushing toilet and soft bog roll! Civilization is a very thin veneer and it wouldn't take much to strip it away.
Not so long ago I had some obnoxious **** boasting about how much he earned laying bricks. I wish i had this video to hand at the time.
