I am surprised haslam you usually accept the facts when they are presented, you seem to think they can be argued , I would like to hear on what grounds Sunderland English premier League Title Won six times, Runners up five times ( Runners up no mean achievement ) Newcastle United Won four times Runners up once I would very much doubt there are more than half a dozen teams that could match that record, which is why Sunderland supporters are so bitter at the present situation but also proud to support a team with such an enviable record
Roy Castle would be proud though ironically the other 2 teams to have that dubious record are Wolves and Fulham and look at them now,all is not lost.
