    Just seen this on the clubs website.
    For those of a certain age George was a quick left winger with a thunderous shot.
    Played a big part in our promotion season 1963-64.
    Sad news indeed.

    Same here first game at r/park (dad took me) paddock's. Remember george playing that day alway's seemed to give a smile.R.I.P George Mulhall.

    By the time George made it wingers were rather less popular than they had been.

    Rather than the 'wizards on the wing' they had become more direct and that suited Georges style.

    Think Nicky Summerbee with a better shot on him and more skill.


    He could be found in the bar of The Bowling Alley on occasions and a friendlier bloke you would be hard pressed to meet.
