i'm claiming 20, including old wembley where it wasn't a football match i watched, but not including one ground where i went to enquire about something and another ground where i went to a business-related social event. i watched city at 17 of the 20.
I played and scored at Deepdale. I've been to about 35 grounds but many of them including Roker Park, Burnden Park an Springfield Park don't exist any more. Others like the Shay and Edgeley Park aren't in the league any more.
You're still alive, Febbos?! I thought you'd have been blown to smithereens in a grenade attack of peace by now. Anyway, to answer your question: Emirates Stadium (x3), Turf Moor (x2), Stamford Bridge (x2), Goodison Park, John Smith's Stadium, King Power Stadium, Anfield (x2), Etihad Stadium (x2), Old Trafford, St James' Park (x4), bet365 Stadium (x2), Wembley Stadium (x4), White Hart Lane, Vicarage Road, The Hawthorns, Boleyn Ground (x2), Villa Park, Oakwell (x2), St Andrew's, Macron Stadium (x2), Craven Cottage, Elland Road (x2 for City games, a few other occasions as a neutral), Riverside Stadium, City Ground (x2), Loftus Road, Bramall Lane (x4), Hillsborough (once as a City fan, once as a neutral), Stadium of Light (x2), Molineux, Ewood Park, Valley Parade, The Valley, Keepmoat Stadium, Boundary Park, London Road, Fratton Park (x2), Glanford Park and the DW Stadium
Been to more of the old closed ones than the new ones, Old Show Ground, Baseball Ground, Feethams, The Dell, Goldstone Ground, the old Donny one Belle Vue?, Roker Park, the old Den Millwall, the Bolton one, Maine Road, are Tranmere and Bradford still at their old ones? Last chance to visit Brentford?
Just checked a few more old terraces I've stood on with City all gone now, Northampton, Bristol Rovers and Chesterfield all moved grounds, not been to any of their new ones, saw City promoted at Chester and Walsall, they've both closed! Wimbledon Plough Lane, gone, Rotherham Millmoor, gone, and not forgetting the old Wembley, not with City, 4 times at the new one mind, nice.
Been to these that have gone ....Manor Ground, Old Show Ground, Belle Vue, Roker Park, Goldstone Ground, The Dell, Millmoor, Layer Rd, Burnden Park, Maine Rd, Highbury, Saltergate, Springfield Park, Feethams, Sealand Rd, Leeds Rd, Victoria Ground, Nene Park, Baseball Ground, Ayresome Park, Highfield Road, Gay Meadow and, of course, Boothferry Park, and Griffin Park that's going. Some great memories going back to Ayresome Park in the 1960s but I doubt I'll ever step foot in a ground again.
I've been to a lot of those as well. Nobody seems to have mentioned Sincil Bank. Some of the grounds are still there but have changed out of all recognition like Bramall Lane that still had the cricket pitch and pavilion when I first went. Bloomfield Road is similar. I hardly recognise it now. When I first went to Bury they had a 'Boys Stand' in one corner. It was wooden and shook precariously when people jumped up and down. I was glad it was a 0-0 draw that day as I don't think the stand would have survived a goal celebration.
Using current league tables to help me, my list is below, don't know how many I've been to till I type it. Typing teams is quicker than grounds too.... All matches v Hull City AFC in various divisions.... Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Burnley, Leicester, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Stoke, WBA. Fulham, Villa, Derby, Sheff Weds, Reading, Birmingham, Barnsley, Bolton, Sunderland. Wigan, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Plymouth, Peterborough, Portsmouth, Bradford, Blackpool, Bristol Rovers, Oxford, Doncaster, Walsall, Rochdale, Bury. Luton, Exeter, Lincoln, Mansfield, Port Valve. Macclesfield, Leyton Orient, Hartlepool, Torquay United, Chester. Stockport County, Boston United, York City, Darlington, North Ferriby United. Runcorn. Wembley. Craven Park (v Nantes) So I make it 53 unless I've missed some obscure cup games, or teams that have dropped lower than National North/South.........
