Thesan Capital, S.L. is a private equity firm specializing in investments in special situations, distressed companies, turnaround, and acquisition of medium sized companies in crisis. It also considers investments through traditional leveraged buyouts, with equity tickets above €100 million ($137.84 million), as well as investments with a hedge fund approach focused on debt and equity investments, minorities in public companies, control positions in private companies

They'll not hang about long, I wouldn't have thought. They know what they'll want back for their investment and as soon as that's there, they'll be gone. The worrying thing is, as an investment firm, the only thing they care about is getting that profit they're aiming for. They'd close our academy short term if it came to it to save money. Ruthless, but they need to be.

Other than Henderson and Pickford over 20 years our Academy has underperformed, lets hope they manage it better , eh ?

What a crock of **** lads.

If it’s a hedge fund or private equity firm they will want to make the club more valuable not desimate it.

Can we get a ****ing grip here we got what we needed and desperately wanted with golden ****ing balls, he’s made a bankrupt club debt free basically.

Positive lads, massive. I’m buzzing for it. We start from scratch as a ****ing shark in a league of minnows, lets enjoy the ride.

Just looking for more information on the deal.
It's far to early to know if this is good or bad as no-one knows what Short has agreed to and what the new owners will do.
At this stage we don't even know who else is involved in the "International consortium". <cheers>

But we know he’s written off the debt and that was the noose round the clubs throat.

We all want the inside line mate I get that, but being £100 million plus in debt or being debt free? Not a choice or a remotely negative position, regardless.

Maybe would be pushing their luck. I guess the deal of debts paid off, club as is sounded pretty good and unfortunately that includes another £2m to Rodwell. Think if I was negotiating I wouldn't have risked such a good offer with further demands. Even with big wage bill, no debt and fanbase etc is a great starting point. Reckon we should forget Rodwell, he's basically an invisible liability now and thinking about him seems to spoil peoples day.

**** him, he's basically gone anyway, pretend he doesn't exist and move on mate, be healthier that way no?

That's about all he can manage.

Seriously though, no-one is going to take Rodwell as a player, his career is over. As such all he can do is sit on your wages for another season, he's not going anywhere but it is a drop in the ocean compared to the huge debt that has just got. I'm flabbergasted and chuffed, I thought it was simply a matter of 'when' administration happened, which would have caused issues next season and probably extended the League One visit.

I always thought administration was unrealistic as would have given Short pennies on the pound, the reality is looking like he genuinely wanted to leave with a good note.

**** Rodwell, we are in on a great place to start the long road back now and that’s all that matters.

Have you any idea the position S.A.F.C were in a couple of weeks ago and where they are now, it was all doom and gloom and now the worlds best supporters have been given cause for optimism
