Okay, so it’s a week today, loads of time to gets our thoughts down on this thread! It’s been a great season, NW has put us in a magnificent position, and we won’t fail at this late stage. Reading, when they won the league a few years Back broke all sorts of records with a pair of Hunts in their side, and Doyle and that super ginger striker Kitson! Not now though, unbelievable downturn in fortunes, but less we forget, we were there early last season.Big week ahead pals! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Read somewhere that his two and a half year contract could be terminated by either party without compensation if the club was relegated.

    And they
They were taking the piss out of Newcastle the year they got relegated and Sunderland didn't.

Fair play though, both teams got out of the championship at their first attempt. :emoticon-0138-think

    Wonder who's laughing now.:emoticon-0136-giggl

Some of the goals Reading conceded yesterday were embarrassing - let hope they defend like that on Sunday <ok>

It’s going to be a long week! This time next week we’ll know if we’re playing the likes of Burnley & Liverpool next season or having to go through the agonies of the play offs.

QPR fan in peace, good luck next week (I genuinely mean that). NW did a great job with us and he was badly treated, he should have been given more time after he took us up and anything that stops Foolham going up is ok by me.

I have. Last game of the season about 6 years ago. Bellers equalised last minute.

Loads went in fancy dress. My abiding memory is taking a pi$$ at the services with a Tellytubby having one next to me. Surreal!!!

Been there too Bluey, but not for a long time - must be more than 25 years ago now. Abiding memory was freezing my bollocks off stood on the Longside terracing - I had to count them before I left.

Think they've built a few new stands there since then, and not before time - the place was third world then - worse than NP (just <laugh>).

It wasn't much better 6 years ago. Wooden seats and a very leaky roof - the rain was hissing down.

Pre match drinkies were at the cricket club next door. Which was nice. No cricket to watch due to weather.
