I'd be happier seeing us trying new things with the line up next week and keep a stronger side today. We're obviously safe but there's a lot riding on the game in terms of the promotion race for us to piss about with our team selection. Plus it'll be the final bow at the KCOM for several first team players. Seems daft by Adkins.

 

Amusing to see on Twitter the suggested scenarios which could lead to a Colin tantrum this afternoon.

 

Nice relaxing afternoon for us, they will be nervous wrecks i would think. Anyway interesting game one which I think they will be very dangerous in the air from set pieces, long throws ect. We have to keep the ball on the floor and if we do 10-9 to us. mind you after all our goals over the last few weeks i expected a few at the last home game.

We know some players who are likely to be with us and won't be bought by others. I suppose all the squad could show up after the game and go around the pitch, not that this season has really been much to celebrate.

 

There'll be no tantrums required if the rumoured line up is correct! We should be playing our best side, trying to go out on a high at our last home game, a farewell to some/most of the players, give us long suffering City fans something to cheer about after all that we are having/had to endure, for the integrity of the league and last but not least for Mr Kempton Snr.

Some of the strongest team you speak of may be more interested in avoiding injuries before they leave. We've been using a lot of the squad for a while now anyway and people have stepped up when called on, despite people telling Adkins to **** off for playing other people.
