    What does Lawro think?

    Liverpool v Stoke (12:30 BST)

Saturday lunchtime kick-offs usually feel a bit flat, so no wonder Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has asked for Reds fans to create the same atmosphere against Stoke that they did against Roma on Tuesday.

Klopp says Liverpool will need their fans but they are just playing so well at the moment that, even if they have an off-day, I would still back them.

Stoke badly need a win, but not only do they have an appalling record at Anfield - they have never won there in 54 top-flight visits - they are playing a team with such impressive firepower.

What do the Potters do? They simply cannot compete if they try to fight fire with fire, and I do not see them holding out and nicking a goal either.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-0

    Sadio Mane fitness latest

Jürgen Klopp confirmed Sadio Mane has an injury issue and the Liverpool forward will be assessed ahead of Saturday's meeting with Stoke City.

'I couldn't believe it - but he'll be back' - Klopp on Ox injury

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s knee injury left Jürgen Klopp speechless, but the boss has no doubt that Liverpool’s No.21 will respond positively to his season-ending setback.

Klopp was forced to replace Oxlade-Chamberlain inside the opening 20 minutes of Tuesday’s 5-2 Champions League semi-final first-leg victory over AS Roma after the midfielder was hurt while making a tackle on Aleksandar Kolarov.

Scans on Wednesday confirmed that the England international sustained ligament damage that will preclude him from playing any further part in the Reds’ campaign and the upcoming World Cup in Russia.

“I have no words for that,” Klopp said on Friday, after being asked to sum up his sense of frustration with Oxlade-Chamberlain’s misfortune.

“I cannot believe that this wonderful player, person, boy, guy, whatever, in such a positive situation, helping the team, having a clear, clear challenge, something like this happens. I really have no words for that.

“When I saw it back I thought ‘wow’. It’s just a shame, it’s not fair, to be honest. But that’s how life is sometimes and, how do we say it, if you get a lemon you make lemonade of it and that’s what we have to do.

“That’s what Alex is doing, he’s an absolute positive person and he will be back. I told him already that we will wait for him like a good wife, when a man is in prison.”

Dear God please let a lightning bolt strike down with great fury on the dirty bastard Charlie Adam if his foot so much as steps on the pitch.

"we will wait for him like a good wife, when a man is in prison.”

Women make up around 5% of the prison population, so the chances of it being the man in prison are really very high, though the angry man brigade would normally spit their coffee because Feminism is just another word for hypocrisy and why is it the man who's automatically the one in prison?

Klopp - the more his English improves the weirder the stuff that comes out of his mouth. :)
We'll be getting the "priest on a mountain of sugar" stuff soon.

Stoke are absolute bilge. Since the injury to the bloke with the daft name, they’ve had absolutely nothing up front barring the odd 15 minute cameo from the 50 year old lampost. Diouf is the ultimate reason they’ll go down, he’s dogshit.

No amount of jinxes could make Diouf find the back of the net today, he couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo.

The bookies say Woodburn is twice as likely to score first, and some are still offering Ox ahead of him o_O
