Conditions to suit and as genuine as they come. Purely on the book Rons Dream should win and we should be third. Would be very nice to finish the season with this little pot.

Riddlestown 6/1 at towecester , to my eye , he seemed to be running really well last time at southwell, has plenty of wins at both tracks .........weak race here .

What do we think about Samcro taking on open company today then? I think Melon will beat him and maybe Wicklow Brave to beat both of them.

I think Samcro wins. I think Melon ran the best race it's gonna run when taking Buveur D'Air close in CH at Cheltenham and also think there must have been easier races for Samcro to target so why risk it unless they're very confident.

I don't think it's about confidence but rather last throw of the dice for Elliot, Smokey. The gap is huge now and he needs a miracle to claw it back and even if Samcro wins this he will likely have Mullins filling the placings.
Melon is a strong traveller and i can imagine Supasundae making it a stern test which will suit him, but equally i can see Min travelling upsides aswell, decent price for him aswell.

It feels like a last throw of the dice by Elliot to try and win the trainers championship - Samcro is his only realistic chance of landing the €162,250 first prize. Mind you, if Mullins mops up the places that will give him about €95,000 so Elliot wouldn't actually gain that much.

If Jen-Jen gets in the first 3, of that Listed affair, today and collects some black type she’ll be worth a small fortune as a broodmare (can add this to being a daughter of Hawk Wing and a 6 time winner). Surely the owner will dispatch her hastily to the old breeding sheds after today, won’t he?!? Or alternatively look to sell her as a most attractive brood mare proposition. I would have thought the whole point to running Jen-Jen today was to get her in the first 3, secure some black type and then get her covered.

Looking forward to seeing Elliott's beast in open company this evening. A quality race for the end of the NH season. Will make naff all difference to the trainers championship as Mullins' lead is unassailable. Close to a million pound turnaround in 3 days is mightily impressive.
For betting purposes I like a few better ground types at Chepstow and Towcester but I'm pretty sure the ground will be very easy by mid afternoon so no bets. Up at Perth Lac Sacre looks to have an ew chance in the Highlands National. Has been running well in similar slogs around Fos Llas. Seemingly friendless in the betting but an ew poke at 20s will do for me. Good luck everyone.

I'm taking an EW chance on A Sizing Network.

Hasn't run for 5 months and pulled up last time out.

Will definitely lead from the front but expected to fade as his last run at Cork led to questions about his stamina.

I think 2m 5f isn't too far for him, though, and I'm hopeful he'll at least place
