    It's #official

Fat Sam: "We discussed the plans for next season with Farhad (Moshiri). We have some clarity moving forward now."

Fat Sam: "When you have a squad as big as ours it's difficult to manage. I think reducing the squad is what we need to do."

    <laugh>

So Moshiri agrees to keep him onboard because Fat Sam goes along with his no more investment plan

Yeah, like Mr Cox volunteered to get his head smashed in and get critically injured.<doh>

“Within 28 days, the two fans will go to trial, but the accusation of attempted murder has been dropped. In case they are found guilty, their sentences will depend on whether the injuries sustained are considered voluntary or not."

Is that not just including the proviso for a self defence argument? .... I'm not suggesting remotely that it was of course just that theoretically that's what the arseholes' lawyers will try to convince a jury of.... so could be foubd guilty but with the understanding that they were attacked and used excessive force in defence....

It's utter bullshit I know but really just lawyer speak

I think it's more a case of the Italian lawyer suggesting Mr Cox might have sustained his injury by "voluntarily" confronting them and fighting with them.

As for the drop in murder charges I'll give the benefit of the doubt. It's hard to provide evidence in situations like this that they intended to murder the victim.

Section 18 gbh easier to prove and can they can still receive up to a life sentence..... whether the judge gives that us another matter of course .... these days we seem not to want anyone in prison for more than a couple of years

They are remanded in custody, theres no way they on the remand wing in Walton Gaol, or they'd be dead before there trial gets to court.
Probably in Manchester nick, they'll be treated like superstars there.

    LEIVA DOES LIVERPOOL A FAVOUR

Liverpool will train at Lazio’s training ground (Formello) before and after next Wednesday’s second-leg against Roma.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will do a light session on the morning of the game (Weds) and another on Thursday morning.

Ex-Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva, who currently plays for Lazio, acted as an ‘intermediary’ to make this possible.

Lazio did the same for Manchester City following a Champions League game against Roma in 2014.

    Talk is cheap.

£5 to kidney research from me if he is in charge next season and £5 from you if he isn’t.

oh this will go down like an absolute tonne of bricks.

We might as well line up for them to stab us.

I mean do we not realize how inflammatory a gesture this is? how it endangers fans?

    this is crazy.

    First league game.

You should be confident enough and either way a deserving charity gets some cash.

    After all you #calledit
