Just taking it at face value Sparks. Can't be bothered to go digging. If he's a WUM then he got me. Face bothered, nah!!!
Born in Barry and live in Cardiff. I've been to quite a few games in the years but this has been my first season where I've been every home game (quite expensive with no season ticket ) I do also support Liverpool but being from Cardiff and love football I wanted to watch it live.
No probs RS - please forgive the suspicion, but "being from Cardiff and love football" is an oxymoron..............
I was referring to a character in an earlier TV series. I always thought I looked like Hannibal Hayes myself.........
First thing Mr Warnock needs to do , is get our defence playing again like they have played all season (excluding the Derby second half) It seems to me , the nerves really kicked in after 60 minutes , on Tuesday. Everything that could have gone wrong did, I think Warnock was suffering with them (nerves) too. Our defence , including the goalkeeper made mistake after mistake , which is inexcusable after how they have performed in previous games. I was talking to a mate and he made a valid point " it's as if they don't want to go up " I can't believe that , but after the last 30 odd minutes on Tuesday, maybe he's right. Back to my initial point. Nerves are a big thing and I believe the whole team had an attack of them , that's what I really believe , especially after Derby equalised . Now Neil Warnock it's time to calm them nerves , tell the team how good they are , not to panic when things go wrong , take the Brentford game as a prime example . I think we need Grujic back in midfield , with Ralls and Bryson . The defence picks it self . For strikers NML maybe off form , but after Wildshut's cameo on Tuesday, it's NML for me with Junior and KZ. I'd even maybe start with Madine and KZ and bring NML on later with Gunners and Patterson. Sorry I'm rambling but the nerves are kicking in for me too, so I can understand how the team and manager are feeling . Saturday afternoon , I'm out on the pop , then check the scores at 5 can't be listening to the radio or watching sky , my nerves won't take it
Even with the first pair we didn't get promoted. And on that last name .......aaaarrrhggghhhh. I spent years drinking copious amounts of beer to erase that name from my memory banks and you had to go and remind me. Going to have to start again now.
I expect you'll need a few more years and beers to erase Madine as well - he is total crap (just an opinion of course). BTW remote, I noticed you've got the emojis working now........
Don't know my liver can stand too many more crap players. Yes, making the most of them. Still got an issue with apostrophes though. Type an apostrophe and it deletes the letter that comes after it.
I remember watching us v Derby this season. Freezing and wet, I was hungover and witnessed one of the worst games ever. 0-0. If I can watch that I can watch anything
Wow this is a long thread. Plenty to comment on. 1. Madine was £2m + £4m if promoted. I don’t rate him. He has the touch of an elephant. 2. Zahore is a jessy but without any creative midfielder he is given little to work with. 3. NW got his substitutions wrong. 4. If Etheridge had let that ball go for a goal kick then it’s 1-0 all the way. 5. Never mind the blatant handball by Johnstone what about the tug on Pilkington? 6. God only knows what team he’ll pick tomorrow but Peltier if fit has to replace Manga. Other possibilities could be Grujic for Gunnarsson, NML for Ward (who to be fair did all he was asked to do). 7. Don’t play Paterson out wide. 8. What odds on a Sunderland double over Fulham
Knew there was a silver lining to missing out on promotion - £4 million saved on that disaster of a transfer
Just seen it mate; 2-0 half time turns into 1-1. That is just added to the long list of tosspot referees siding with Fulham this season.
