On drugs the ****ing lot of em Faugheen from Penhill and Shaneshill - just not funny any more. Fixed as ****. And I had no money down, but that is just ****ing stupid.
Anyone know the status of the trainer's championship battle how much is in it between Elliott and Mullins now?
How those jocks let Faugheen off with such a lead i will never know, as soon as he got to first with that kind of lead it was all over. Ridiculous.
2nd by a bloody neck Lucymai, then again baring in mind that apart from a 40/1 Kranji winner (right place right time, purely for the name) I guess it is too much to ask for another winner after Faugheen has just put me up on the year now and Faugheen is only my 2nd winner this month
What a ****ing brilliant sight it was to see Faugheen bounce back today. Just awesome to see a champion come back to form when nearly everyone had written him off. Terrific scenes, and the Punchestown crowd certainly know how to welcome one back in.
Did many people write Faugheen off today? He went off 11/2 3rd choice in a Grade 1 and was tipped by plenty. People wrote him off for the Champion Hurdle but didnt hear anything about him today over 3 miles. Everyone likes a good story but think some going overboard on this one.
and im talking in general anyway, its all over twitter about this underdog story people couldnt have him winning a Champion Hurdle at 10yo, nobody was surprised that he was able to win that race today, especially with the lead he got at the start I wouldnt put it up there with Sprinter Sacre and Denman in terms of comebacks
WILLIE Mullins stole the show again at the Punchestown Festival as he increased his lead over Gordon Elliott in the battle for the Irish jumps trainers' championship to €424,148, with just two days of the season remaining.
I don’t know what Unibet know but they are now just 7’s (out to 33’s elsewhere) re LVG and The Arsenal! I always liked LVG and felt he had far too much class for Manchester United. A bit mad perhaps (when he fell to the floor, in the technical area, to indicate an opponent’s dive was comedy gold) but, to be frank, if madness was a bar to employment then most of us would be queuing down the ‘Labour Exchange’. What, what?!? The little chap being named after the forum’s 4th favourite X-Factor judge though now looks remote – drifted out to 20’s. I wonder what sparked that plunge from 40/1 down to 3’s?!?
