If there was a safe standing area where would it be?

    Who here would use it?

I've been to a couple of games in Germany the last couple of years, and was in safe standing both times, felt like the good old days.
If it is run like it is over there, then it's a great idea imo.

    Me :emoticon-0148-yes:

Seating has killed the atmosphere in football grounds, it's akin to a cricket match

South stand would be ideal, and the same people who stand in there now would use it.

Celtic Park has it for the green brigade section of their fans for past couple of seasons with no problems

Correct. Just pointing out it works in a crowd of 60k so why not in crowds half the size

South stand has a small capacity so surely it would work there safely

does not safe standing reduce the capacity where it is used.Elland rd is small enough Bates saw to that it needs increasing first then it can be brought in.

Safe standing/seat rails in effect provide one standing space for every seat removed so not as far as I understand it.
Obviously this would reduce capacity if we currently had proper standing like we should have.
