I still fancy us to get at least one goal away from home so 5-2 is a strong position. Just going to be a tighter game than I'd hoped for on 80minutes, but it's strange how I feel a bit disappointed after the 10minutes! Shows just how good we were prior to that really. C'mon mate.... I was all for dismissing the don't concebtrate on the CL qualification instead of actual CL ....but not protecting your best player, 5-0 up? Roma boys could have got narky Salah didn't tell our midfielders to be 12 year olds.

Great performance. We would have taken 5-2 at the start no doubt. The only downside is that with that sliver of hope for Roma Klopp might be tentative for the Stoke match. And play a slightly weakened side. I cannot believe how naive the Roma manager was. Playing a high line against a team as fast as us. And we took full advantage. We are through to the final. Weird feeling logically 5-2 is brill it's just end at 5-0 & we are basically thru so it is tinged with a touch of the one that got away.
Don't get me wrong, I am happy enough with the result. I am just disappointed in Lovren doing again what he did against Tottenham and running under the ball, you don't see kids do that on the play ground. I am mostly disappointed in the reaction to conceding that, just panicked and lost all shape. Ignoring whether it was a penalty or not, Roma were going to score a 2nd regardless.
It's weird because we was 5-0 up but let in 2 late goals and most feel like **** if only we could have hung on for 10 more mins. If they had taken a 2-0 lead and we won 5-2 most on here would have been elated lol.
Weird feeling indeed. Euphoria at 5-0, 5-2 is still a very good position but feel quite sick at those 2 goals. Roma will give it all in Rome and if our players feel as spooked as some of us do currently, could be a squeaky-bum game
None of their players even got close to Salah to be able to get nasty. Look, 1 individual error by defender and a shocking ref decision but taking off Salah have them a mini boost, added to nothing else to lose it just invited pressure on ourselves. If anything Mane should have gone to the right and Ings left. Mane had the pace to keep threatening down that flank which is where Roma were attacking which is what Salah was doing. Leaving Ings down that side meant Kolarov just pushed on knowing didn’t need to come back and help his CB.
