Lampard says there are many more goals for Liverpool in the 2nd half. That kind of talk worries me. Roma will surely change something defensively
Short of nipping out to the carpark and bringing the coach into the goalmouth I don't think there's much they can do, an Italien team that can't defend is some rarity...
While I have little time for Liverpool (want them to win here, and the final hopefully, but no fondness for them), I have a huge amount of respect for Klopp. He brings a real sense of joy, humour and theatre to the game, understands fans and seems to have it all in perspective. He knows his stuff too. Just playing Salah in a slightly different position to the one he was in at Roma was a stroke of genius. That this team seems to be getting better after selling Coutinho to Barca (bet he’s kicking himself now) is testament to having a good plan and knowing and trusting his players. However the scousers still have it in them to let in a sackful of goals. Which is also quite endearing.
Agreed, I have no love for them either. Bet Arsenal are kicking themselves when they had the chance of getting Klopp in and decifed to keep the faith in Wenger. The defence is definately a weak link, and the keeper is very dodgy - I'd imagine either Real or Bayern will be a different test
Just got interesting - Roma pull back 2 goals, so a 3-0 home win, they managed against Barca although can't see Liverpool falling into that trap....
If their manager was driving the coach, he'd overturn it before it reached a pitch. Tactics badly wrong. Salah a joy to watch. Ps watching with delayed playback and just seen 2 away goals
2 away goals and it's a different ballgame. It's similar to the end of their league match with Man City...
