You've been there Matt, it's like a war-zone now. Ironic as it use to be a peaceful little haven with many good people on there, they won't be there for long if the bullies are allowed to dominate the forum
Totally destroyed the morale of our forum, unfortunately he has a knob of a mod on his side which has left our members in despair Don't be surprised if a few more join not606, decent folk too !

Spent a couple of hours with a very experienced goalkeeping coach and one of the best keepers in the Championship today. In short, yes top keepers would come to Leeds (might depend upon a managerial change). The coach is interested in Farrell because he has seen him develop for years, has talent but still thinks it could go either way. His view was he has done great but it’s much easier to come in now playing dead rubbers than starting a season (hadn’t really thought of that). Oh and Wiedwald, lots of head shaking. A bit of embarrassment knowing I am a Leeds fan and talk of the well known turmoil at Leeds but basically, disbelief that he ever got the move, hasn’t the basic skills to be on Championship clubs radars, never mind higher. Not wishing to bump Chippys agenda further but PH was also discussed and the professionals view was the jump from Barnsley to Leeds is too big in this day and age (no disrespect intended to Barnsley fans). Leeds still viewed as massive within the game and the concencus was someone mentioned on here many times recently has to be the one.
Interesting feedback Marcos. I’ve heard the dead rubbers argument and it has some merit... however, his debut was on sky against wolves, he’s been playing in front of 30k and been on tv 3 times I think. He has the benefit of being an academy lad and the fans are on his side so I think that has helped. But the idea there’s no pressure? He’ll have put plenty on himself. I’d agree though there’s a different weight of expectation when you’re expected to deliver rather than ‘being given a chance’. I’ll say this for him, he’s laid back, but he has confidence and a real competitive streak. A good mix of attributes for a keeper. I’ve been more and more impressed by him as the games have gone on, he looks at home now. I guess the acid test is how he reacts to his first stinker, but he’s ticking the boxes st the moment for me at least
