Strangely enough it caught my eye earlier, looked at the form to see it was well beaten by Getabird and closed the form page, didnt even notice it was Mullins. Last week at Newmarket you had John Gosden putting punters away in an interview, they are all at it but what can you do. Its a gravy train, the rich get richer.
Yep and has 5 darts to Mullin's 3 in the novice chase next. Even if Elliott wins that Mullins will have made about €140k back on day 1.
Brighton 6.30 DR JULIUS NO e/w @ 25/1 Been dropped another 4lb since last start to this new career low of 73.Won off 85 back in December 2016 and ran in listed and class 2 company previously.Outsider of the eight runners here but could outrun his odds.
Had a small each way bet on Youcantcallherthat at 80/1 in the next at Punchestown. Could well be outclassed by these but is rapidly improving that gave weight and a beating to Asthuria last time which is decent form. A good run wouldn’t surprise me.
Tried to bypass the last fence, he kind of looked towards finnian's and the other one before he moved, i wonder if he thought he caught them going that way on the outside to bypass it
Yes 400k lead down from 520k at the start of the day. What the fook was Townend doing on Al Boom Photo? Surely he'll be moving on from Closutton if Willie loses the title by less than €60k.
Don't rate Townend anyway think he's mediocre personally always have, but harsh to get rid of him just for that, everyone makes mistakes part of the game.
I know it's easy to say as i didn't have any money on anything in that race, and when we had the Annie Power fiasco i was fuming for a bit, but mistakes happen, you could run that race 100 times and Townend would never make that mistake again 99 times out of 100. Just one of them things and nobody will feel more bad than him, he'll get it from all angles will feel publicly humiliated, lost out on prize money, got a long ban, and also has to suffer the abuse of moronic trolls online on Twatter calling him bent and corrupt and a fixer. All for a mistake, not fair really but it is what it is
I don't believe there was anything sinister at work, that would be ridiculous. However there are mistakes and there are monumental mistakes. I'd just love to know what happened and why he tried to bypass the last fence. He will get trolled no doubt but it doesn't help that nobody would give ATR any explanation afterwards. I had a bit ew on Rathvinden so the carnage nearly secured me an extraordinary bit of ew thievery. No pocket talk from me.
Chan wasn't talking about you or anyone on here, was referring to all the twitter dimwits!! And yeh shame someone wouldn't try explain somewhat
Just watched the replay and Townend has to come out and offer some sort of explanation for that. It would appear he heard something which made him turn round, then appeared to try and bypass the final fence, for whatever reason. He has to just come out and say what he thought was happening and what he was trying to do - anything less will be totally unacceptable.
