Bringing Wes to the club must be the best thing Roeder ever did for us?

Think new picture is perfect for the day. Little messi is leaving norwich the greatest player norwich have had in my opinion. 10 derby days and no defeats top that.

Uh Oh, has Wes been our lucky little Leprechaun? is defeat to the binners next season assured? (Of course it would be nothing to do with our decline in budget and player quality as we race to a penny pinching mid-table malaise)

    Bah!

Some interesting Wes trivia I just read in today's EDP: Hoolahan had trials at The Binners, Leicester, & Sunderland before joining Livingston in 2006 for a deal worth up to £100k who were then managed by Paul Lambert.
Typical of the Binmen to throw away such good talent, best thing they ever did for us

Nothing to add to what Madders has said here <applause>

    James Maddison‏@Madders10

Honoured to have been able to play with such a great footballer but more importantly a great man. I have learnt so much off you Maestro, you are the definition of a legend. Been a pleasure to watch you sit defenders on their

My favourite pic of Wes is this one as he strokes home a penalty agin the Binmen in the play-off semi-final.

Why you ask? Well just above the crossbar to the left is a guy in a red shirt with his arms raised aloft, to his right under his arm yours truly can be seen with his hand up to his face ;)

I have this picture in a frame on my wall at home

My mate is a Norwich fan and when you signed Wes Hoolahan I told him that I thought he was a really good player (he played well for Blackpool against Bristol City)

10 years and 320 appearances later he proved to be even better than I thought

The biggest compliment I can give him is that he's a player that fans of other clubs would have got excited if he joined their club.

It's mad to think back but he was so frustrating to watch. That first season, was part of my season ticket era. He was really frustrating because he looked so flash and skilful but he lost the ball so often, he tried to do it all himself and lost it. I remember a lot of fans around us despairing at his play.

He has learnt and come on so much since then. Norwich City did that to him. There must be something here that works! Wish we used it more often.

No, Wes; you have been amazing. You setting up numerous Holt goals will stick with the memory for a while. Good luck
