Rafa is not gonna be taking a step down at this stage of his career. Plus there's gonna be skid marks all over the manager's chair at Goodison

I see a Moyes second coming there anyways

In Roma's home tie against Barca the whole stadium was lit up by flares, its what Italians have always done, watch the flares go off in the away section tonight.

Of course, and it's fine because "we must respect the football culture of others" while ****ting on your own (this extends out way beyond football) and there is a special place for Liverpool fans in the MSM, it's the British way now, all cultures are apparently equal, except your own <doh>

That's just a bizarre decision, tbh. Everyone can see it, and there's no ambiguity there. It wasn't a heavy punch, but it was quite deliberate.
I can't imagine on what grounds they can come to that decision.

Yeah, absolutely disgraceful decision, they must have been busy counting their over the top obscene salaries that particular day.
There are far to many decisions that they show a total lack of consistency on so this doesn't really surprise me.

its not bizarre if you apply the simple concept of politicial decision making.

West brom not relegated. therefore ignore any decisions needed there. don't need the club jumping up and down baout fa affecting relegation.

If west brom had been on 37 or 40 points he would have been done imo.

As you might have noticed, I don't go in for the conspiracy theory much, except as a joke, and I think it's easy for anyone to take a highly subjective view over anything that involves their own players. However, that incident was quite clear and unequivocal, and only a wum would argue it. The panel must have seen it as deliberate, but have still somehow decided that no action be taken. So I wonder on what grounds they've based their decision. Baffling.
I think the FA should be made to clearly justify their decisions - even for their own sakes - as things like this just lend weight to the accusations that they are incompetent or corrupt - or both.

They'd have nothing to jump up and down about, as the offence is perfectly clear.

it is but it never stops anyone from trying it anyway.

I hate political decision making in all forms.

Its the absolute worst type of decision possible.

They do not have to produce a report publicly for any incident stating reasons so they can get away with these strokes.

Its clealry deliberate but they don't need to show how its not so they can say its not and just move on.

I think I saw that they couldn't decide if unecesary force was used.

That should have been irelevant as it was clear it was a clenched fist. what other reason do you clench your fist for lol.

Other players can now use the unecesary force or intent argument and be interesting to see if they use the argument irelevant as you had a clenched fist :bandit:

I can't accept the unnecessary force argument. If it had been a girlie slap to the face he would have been off. Players have been sent off for just moving their forehead against another player when squaring up, no headbutting. They got it wrong and as usual it will come back and bite them in the arse

In the wider world you'd have to look at each case individually, but yes, I'd tend to agree.

    I don't accept it either.

These bullshit rules only seem to apply when concerning us.

Mane got done for high foot tackle, yet how many since have not even received a yellow card.

Thing is, if it was to the face, they would have taken action, but there is no guidelines or rules about which part of the body.

    Seems like a #ManUp decision

It looked less in slow mo, but in real time it was a punch, so.. now we are determining how hard was the contact on violent conduct it seems, cos it was a WBA player on one of ours obviously.

I don't remember them judging how hard did Suarez bite Ivanovic :bandit:

But the whole action was unnecessary.
He didn't hit him hard, but it's still an aggressive act.
The FA has to be seen to be consistent if it expects to have any credibility, and not adhering to its own rules undermines this.
