  6. Quote, please.

And I want you to link me to the quote where he says exactly what you have just claimed.

To me, he seemed to be making a challenge to Levy and the board to back him. We don't know what the board expected of Poch. I would hope that they expected nothing more than a Europey League placing, for this difficult transitional season, and that our finishing in the top 4 will be a bonus.

I'm expecting the board to back Poch and give him a contract extension.

Let's face it, when Arsenal ****ed up and finished in mid-table obscurity, last season, Wenger rewarded himself with a new two year contract, and you fans lapped it up. I cannot see how you would deny Poch his reward for finishing in the top 4 for a third successive season.

  9. Wow!

A rare moment of humanity, Fosse!

    I appreciate that.

Don't make a habit of it, though, as it all seems a little too disconcerting.

That's a fair point HIAG, I think it's great when anyone takes negative comments and channels them into something positive, in many ways the other posters are helping you with retorts. Keep it up you fat bastard.

Both will likely be gone within 2 years to be fair.

    Both have high expectation.

    Not sure about Fellaini.

    Might end up at Spurs.

On a serious note, I've had this all my life. I grew up in a very poor family (my father having abandoned my mother when I was newly born, and then he died when I was about 2 years old). Working (manual labour) class and uneducated, would probably be the best way to describe my family. I wasn't given much of a chance by society or our education system, especially given the environment I was forced to grow up in. I knew no different, of course,

Not only was I the first person in my (fairly extended) family to get to University, but I did it in pretty spectacular fashion. Being a clever kid that wants to do well for himself is not a particularly endearing quality to have, in the environment I grew up in. I had to be twice as tough as the rest of the kids. But I did it, and that experience made me strong. Yes, I would rather that me and my siblings had an easier ride in life - especially my mother - but I don't regret my past, and I am thankful for what I have, especially my beautiful boys.
