Not quite in the same class as Mr Hazard, but a word for the much maligned Nathan Redmond yesterday. He was excellent when he came on, and very, very unlucky not to equalise (much as I'm trying to work out how you tackle Hazard in that mood, I'm also trying to work out how Redmond's shot pinged off the underside of Caballero's arm at that angle).

I had a perfect view and that was a goal. Nothing wrong with it. Had a good day out neverthless but we were somewhat unlucky.

    Bouremouth game is massive.

They keep saying that dodgy decisions equal themselves out over a season, for that not to be a myth, we need a lot of them to come our way in the final games

Not sure how VAR would have helped with that goal as it's 100% subjective.

Ok if he didn't see it he could ask, but if he didn't see it why is the ref giving a foul?

But if he did then using var would just be delaying the play to forgo his opinion and get the opinion of the video ref. Honestly, these are the situations I don't want it used in.

Just frustrating because every other ref seems to be using VAR Willy nilly <wah>

His ability to create a yellow card out of what is a bog standard mistimed tackle is exceptional.

I'm still trying to work out how Austin's cross/shot didn't go in. Any more to the right and it would have gone in or deflected off the post and in, and more to the left it would have deflected off the post gone to our player (forgot who) to tap in but somehow hot thst perfect 45 degree angle and didn't do either :emoticon-0106-cryin

We had 270 degrees worth of sure goal there at least.

Yes, that slightly pissed me off. It wasn’t a dirty game but the ref seemed happy to constantly give us yellow cards.

It was Gabbiadini at the post, but unfortunately he would have been offside if the ball had come to him.

I thought Romeu did a good job of steering him away from goal a few times yesterday. Even if he couldn't get the ball off him.

Ah really? Live I thought Austin was ahead of Gabbi but I wasn't really paying attention. Still, maybe we would have got some league cup final level of linesmanship :emoticon-0114-dull:.

The real shame with Hazard is that he hasn't got the mentality of say Ronaldo, to push him to the truly great level.

But on the other hand, he didn't have a gold statue of himself erected in his home town.

I was starting to celebrate when I saw Redmonds shot squirm under Caballero. I was in the lower tier to the left of the goal so I was sure it was in. Until the net didn't bulge. :(

Still no idea how that didn't go in.

Whoever the god of goals is, we need to sacrifice a goat to him and lift this curse, sharpish. I think it might be Nike actually...

I can’t find any replays of the handball. This is from the corner right?
