This is not a go at the team but we need to sort out the defence, we never look comfortable at the back wether its because the only one there from last season is Sol Bamba but we look nervous every time a team attacks us. Kasper today kept us in the game in the 2nd half, just like their goalkeeper did in the first for them.
There is an alternative get Tunchev back from his loan spell and put him in the team, it looks like he is proving his fitness and has been recalled into the Bulgarian squad for the forthcoming internationals.
Who do we leave out personally I would leave Bamba out I know he is a crowd favourite but sometimes his bringing the ball out of defence scares the **** out of me, like today there are times when a good kick upfield will relieve the pressure but trying to dribble out of defence was not on.
Still I will take the 3 points today from a good looking Southampton team

Are you referring to Saints as a dangerous side going forward?

We have not looked secure at the back in any game yet.

And as for Southampton they look a dangerous side going forward but like us look suspect at the back.

Southampton couldn't score for thirty minutes of pure pressure at the end.

I thought they we're good today.

wining gives confidence! The more they play the better. I though both mills and konchelsky had played the last 10 mins very well!

As for schmicheal I thought he made 3 outstanding saves!! And when mills threw his body at one of there goal bound shots I was convinced we have the right defence.

Saying all that pantsil scared m at times, I like peltier more myself but I love the guys spirit!!

Sounds like the game was won on finishing and we just didn't get the goals to get us the point/points.

Well done today guys. Look forward to the game at St Mary's, i'm sure the game will be just as exciting. Good luck for the season and I hope Saints and Leicester are playing at the top level in the next couple of years. <ok>

Bamba for Tunch might help keep Mills' heart from exploding.

Think the defence will improve the more they play together. Konch and Mills had their best games for us today. Loved the lap of honour by Paintsil and he didnt slip over once doing it.

Schmeichel looks like a brilliant bit of business for you boys based on his performance today, don't know how he kept you in it at the end there but fair play to the lad - certainly earnt his pay-packet this week with a few of those saves today didn't he ey! Gutted we couldn't get at least a point but that's football for you, you win some you lose some and our 100% record couldn't last forever...

But can I also just say there isn't a club I'd rather of lost it to, Leicester have got the best team in The Championship bar West Ham only, and to go away to The KP and play the way we ended up doing was some achievement. Erikkson is an international manager and considering you have proven Premiership players such as Pantsil, Koncheskey, Nugent and Vassell in your team... It was always going to be a really tough game for us - especially seeing as we've just come up from League One.

You lads have been fantastic in the build-up to this game 'n' all, the banter has been clean and fair and you've also been very gracious in victory - we all know that it's hard to come by fans like this these days with most match threads ending up in a mighty WUM fest. So thank you to you all, and good luck for the rest of the season! See you at St.Marys and hopefully we'll see you in the Premiership next year and all <ok>

Glad you think Kasper was woth the money we paid for him. There are a certain lot of fans on here who seemed to think he is crap. No names mentioned but they seem to think they should be in the Premiership as a god given right they currently sit 19th in the table :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Indeed, the Southampton fans have certainly showed they have some of the best fans in the land if the guys on here and your away support are anything to go by.

They'll certainly get a mention the next time I end up having a" best/worst fans in the country" conversation. So will Leeds. But for completely different reasons.

Heres the thing about bamba, He scores and usually steps up in big games.
I think the problem lies in midfield! They just defend towards the end of our games and we never look like winning. The attempts southampton missed could well have been goals and we just cant do it anymore. We dont even counter attack because sven is a points man?
Well last season he made amazing subs and formations, this season its like hes lost the plot in terms of tactics.

On the bright side, we are goin up say we are goinup
