Obviously it's well documented that Man Utd supporters can't forgive Sunderland fans for celebrating Man City winning the league. Even after all this time they still want to see us struggle and like to let us know about it.

Well, now we are relegated the Man City fans are starting to have their turn on our club. This time over the United Kingdom leaving the European union <doh>

    Dear ALS

I'm a Man City fan, who has always had a soft spot for Sunderland AFC. Many fond memories including you lot bringing 15, 000 fans to Maine Road on a Wednesday night decades ago. The team of Elliott, Arnott, and Rowell.

But now I'm chuffed to bits you've dropped again. Why? It's not because of your clueless moneybags septic tank owner, though that doesn't help.

It's because Mackems voted more than anyone else to Brexit. You nasty thick planks, you do whatever the rabble rousers tell you. Go on, I hope that well-paid job you've got at Nissan evaporates, and you're right on your arse in The Conference! Duels with Hartlepool and The Heed! You deserve it, anti-euro thicko bigots!

ALS: Seems John Ainsworth left his email, he must want us all to email him back telling him what a dick he is. Man City were in the third tier not that long ago...

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You'd think their clubs might put smiles on faces after all the success they've had but it seems like they're just miserable and bitter people, who can't seem to take a joke, or Brexit.

Even the Burton fans are sticking the boot in. They travelled to Newcastle after the win on Saturday to celebrate and have a photoshoot. We'll be playing them again next season.

I'll be very surprised if we don't walk that league. And you know how I wouldn't entertain the mention of the championship being an easy ride.

We should do as it stands. If Short is still there then the toxic atmosphere will still be there, no money will have been spent and we'll have sold the last few half decent players that we have. I'm going for mid-table, perhaps play-offs. I'm also concerned we'll be landed with administration and a -10 point start.

If we get our act together, we will absolutely walk it because the standard is so poor.

I think we'll be sold like. Just a feeling. Going to get more cash than we thought on sales, some of those out on loan have had cracking seasons. Could be the difference in pushing it over the line.

Unfortunately this is the attitude of a lot of remainers.

    Aggressive, unpleasant and bitter.

Oh dear Mr Ainsworth is clearly not a very bright person if that email address is real. And i'm tempted to think it is real. Already google bots have picked up his email address and just at a simple glance of the internet would have reached out to over 20,000 people in one click. Even our Pete is more intelligent than that <whistle>

Typical leave voter's naivety; the spanners vote to **** the country and undermine our children's future, then wonder why the 48% of the country with a modicum of intelligence are angry.

Anyway, keep that **** on the politics thread. This is a "take the piss out the mackems" thread <ok>

    The 1970's?

Best decade ever. David Bowie on TOTP, Whitbread Tankard 20p a pint, Saints won the FA Cup. What more could you want?

    Good luck with that one.
