The prize money at Punchy is a bit skewed though with some egg and spoon races and 4 x €160k races. Of those I'd reckon Mullins has a strong hand in the Champion Chase, the Stayers and the Champion Hurdle. The Gold Cup looks open. Having said that Apples Jade (e Mullins) will likely line up in the Stayers and Elliott could let Samcro loose in the Champion Hurdle next Friday. If Mullins is breathing down his neck he maybe tempted. Samcro's novice event is on the same day so can leave us all guessing until then.
