    Rumours are going around that we're in for this lad and the Nolan Roux stuff was a smoke screen.

    Don't know much about the lad before but his scoring record seems quite good.
    Pure speculation so take it with a pinch of salt.

    Can't see Freiburg letting him go for anywhere near what you'd expect Ashley to pay, like £10m mark. He seams perfect for what we need though. Had a fantastic season last year and has already started this one the same.

    I'd have to assume buying players from the Budesliga is a little less risky than from France but I'm no expert.

    I think the best case scenario for us is to get Pieters and a striker in (preferably Roux) then coming up to deadline day, maybe put a cheeky bid on another player (fullback or striker).
    Maybe a last ditch attempt at Maiga, an offer with not long to go might persuade Sochaux to give in and let him go.

    I doubt Ashley would stump up the cash to pay for him, plus e'd be off to the ACoN in Jan, so can't see it happening.

    No way will we get him.

    I will take one of Maiga or Nolan Roux, and I'm pretty sure we'll get one of them.

    But much like with Raylor a few years back I reckon it'll all drag on until the last day again...
