If we were to buy him back now then it would be the full £35 mil back, no more and no less

If we had him back we'd have to stick to the long balls. I would like to see more pass and moving like Barcelona, Arsenal, Doncaster ;) etc.

So no I wouldn't have him back. He will be a hit at Liverpool anyway IMO, he is a top player!

Don't hold any grudges against him and wish him the best but just to appease fans if there was a hypothetical situation where he came back a sorry would probably be necessary

If they were to try to get rid we could offer what we liked, no way would we pay £35m for him, therefore there would be a bit of negotiating to be done by Lamearse and Ashley.

Even if he managed to defy the odds and become the greatest striker in the world, I still wouldn't be too keen to have Carroll back - too much baggage. Same goes for most players who've departed for allegedly greener pastures (that said, I didn't have a problem with Peter Beardsley coming back to us during the Keegan era, but I must admit that's most likely because I hadn't been a fan long enough to remember him leaving first time round).

Going off on a slight tangent, I suspect the real problem with Carroll now isn't so much fish-out-of-water syndrome or lack of enthusiasm as that damn transfer fee. Cliched as it is to talk about the burden of expectation, it seems to me from the few match reports, pundits and fans I've read/ listened to/ watched, the ridiculous price tag has warped analysis of his performances to the extent that in the eyes of the media, he simply isn't allowed to have an average game anymore. If he scores, then he's deemed to have played a blinder (I'm thinking of the England - Ghana game in which putting the ball in the net was just about the only useful thing he did all game), but if he doesn't, then he's an abject failure and a total waste of money, which can't be doing very much for his confidence. Whether or not he wanted to move (and I believe he did on some level), I'm pretty sure he didn't ask for such a hefty price on his head.

And it was all sorted by Nolan, who wanted a decent striker at the club he supports, so got his agent to make the 'arrangements'.

JFK called Area 51 from the World Trade Centre, told them to put the moon landing set construction on hold and sort out the Andy Carroll move to Liverpool before the Royal Family try to off someone else besides Princess Diana.

John Henry is really from the north east and told KD to offer ridicules money for Henderson and Mandy to ensure we both had money to "get by" But he didnt count on the shapeshifting crocodile people who had taken the form of MA and DL to cock up

I'd never take Carroll back, not a ****ing chance. On the off chance he actually does really well then someone better will buy him and we have a 25% sell on clause.

So what if he is a Judas, we could do with him right about now...

would take him back in a heartbeat only if he accepts the contract an wages he was on previously with us, if he would demand more would tell him to piss off!

Not been the same since the injury, but he is so wrong for Liverpool it's unreal, their style is not suitable for him and he just looks slow.
