I can understand why Klopp was so upset with surrendering these two goals and 2 points so late when we had been so comfortable.

He realised the implications. We had put ourselves into a tricky situation for the next match.

Will certainly make it riskier to rest players between your CL semi games now.

Wow, what a bitter twisted cry baby <yikes>

West Brom produced a "useless comeback" by scoring two late goals to take a point at the Hawthorns, says Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.'

"I don't think that point will help West Brom massively, it is a complete waste of points. They don't need it, we would have needed it," Klopp added.

So Klopp is bitter but Jose Mourinho has fair, valid and justified reasons to be pissed at least 10 times this season - all of which probably will still irk him if mentioned of today <laugh>

Gotta love the sense of humour.

Well that was a pathetic attempt at seeing the game out.

Not helped by the ref, clear pen and red card which prob kills West Brom but at 2-0 up against team at bottom to throw it away is pathetic.

Shows how bad our second strung defence is though.

Making it hard work for ourselves to finish in top 4 and make end of season comfortable.

Klopp will prob regret his comments in a day or two. Yeah pitch wasn’t great but West Brom aren’t gonna help us out. Yeah fair point on ref but wasn’t reason we threw that away. Was just poor defending from set plays again.

He was a turning into Jose. A press favourite at the start, but now appears to have gone down the dark path when things don’t go his way

I think he’s always been like that, it’s just that they’ve had a good season and he’s barely had reason to show his melty, bitter side.

This. Usually his post match interviews are spot on.

Of course WBA are down but isn’t the beauty of the premiership that teams have integrity, do not surrender and are honest even when they are down or their cause is hopeless? In this case, he said what he was thinking and was not for public airing. Yes we needed the points more than them. But that does not mean they should be given to us more than Chelsea.

I think when he has had time to think about it he would regret these words as WBA would take them as being nasty and bitter. He was angry that the result has changed his plans for the coming matches. In fact in actual mathematical terms, the draw means as much as a defeat as the requirements are exactly the same. Instead of resting key players against Stoke he would now have to use some of our key players.

Yeah, like all managers are sunny and bright when there team has dropped points. Fat Sam, Wenger, Fergie and the Obvious One are all renowned for their glowing praise when dropping points.

    Like this is only Klopp...<doh>

I was shocked, if he won 0-2 would the dry grass have been mentioned?

He's right about it being a deliberate plan though. They made the pitch as dry as possible knowing Klopp would notice and be #worried at playing too high of an intensity that could risk injury.

The pitch should have been declared unsafe for play, but then this is the same ref who had no problem with our players being punched either.

High level sports is often about small differences and it's not good enough to let the ref off and basically say that every game we play we should be good enough to overcome 12 men. It's a standard no one else is being held to.

A bit of an exaggeration. How many times have we seen teams using their pitch to their advantage? Some wet it until it is extremely slippery and greasy. Some leave the grass to grow until the ball sticks and does not move properly. Some cut the grass thin and some sand the area in front of goal. WBA did nothing that many clubs wouldn’t do themselves.
