I was over from Australia for that game. Arrived at the ground late just as Cort scored in the opening minute and then had to endure a lacklustre performance, culminating in Brentford fans drooling over Jay Tabb’s late winner.
When I checked the score when I woke up I thought they had got the "shots of target" figures in the wrong column, but it was the actual score. What a crazy game that must have been, but seeing the highlights, there was some very poor defending but also so very good attacking play. Credit to Nigel for getting them over the line and staying up. I had them down as going down when he came, but congratulations to him for turning it around. Have to say though, Harry Wilson has probably made the difference between us staying up and going down.
Give it a rest , attention seeker , what its not enough that you revelled in having created the Bummers' thread for your ego stroke , now your trying to waft the smoke blown up your own arse on this thread.
You should be going to bed about now , night crawling parasite. Otherwise You'll be a cranky gurl all day.
From top off ci These are league games. There have been six home league games with 10+ goals in them, and two more with 9 goals. There have been a few high-scoring cup games, such as the 8-4 against Whitby, and 8-2 at Stalybridge. If I find more, I'll add them.
Aina was absolutely dreadful from minute 1. You at least expect players to be on their toes and aware of what is going on. Aina was bumbling around slow and flat footed. Not at the game at all. Adkins was generous to give him 40 mins. If there is some lame excuse about illness etc he should have never set foot on the pitch. He seems to have learnt very little in a full season.
and why should they be!? they always deserve more I went to AFC Wimbledon v Oldham I checked on BBC and we were 4-2 down and then again well into extra time I saw we were 5-4 up so it was a disappointment to see that we had conceded so late why can't we just get the ball and keep making easy passes to play out the match?
Shame really, last few games he seemed to have properly stepped up to the plate. Maybe as a loan player he's just lost interest.
this should be when he's trying extra hard to get a better gig for next season most clubs would look at him and think they can't risk it
... which links to the rubbish some roll out during the season about "players don't care", "they can't be arsed", "no effort", blah blah. #youknowwhoyouare Collectively, it just doesn't happen, except in the rare case where something is seriously wrong behind the scenes. Credit to Adkins for steering the ship safely through the ongoing ****-storm the Allams are responsible for.
Unfortunately, I think most of us believe that the Allam's will try to make it even worse for him next season.
It's worth noting that their second came directly after Wilson fannied out of a challenge where the ball was his to lose. If he'd gone for it maybe he'd have been through the defence and could have resulted in a goal of our own.
It's also bollocks. Aina wasn't at fault for the first. He cut out a ball into the middle. Irvine lost his man and henriksen and Larsson never closed down. 2ng goal a cluster **** between henriksen and Dawson. 3rd Dawson way out of position but not at fault. McDonald facing the wrong ****ing way and thenplayer was in between McDonald and Kingsley. 4th henriksen weak in centre mid lost the challenge, then McDonald pathetic in our box and falls over. 5th Larsson slow to close down. McDonald sat on the six yard box when the rest were on the penalty spot. No one else charged the payer down.
