Giroud starts for Chelsea tonight. Please can he get a slight knock, muscle pull or even the mumps, just to keep him out of their squad for Sunday.
Reportedly Wenger to leave Arsenal this summer. Bummer....beaten to it. has done well for them, but shouldn't have outstayed his welcome.
Rumours are that Wenger decided to retire as he had to finally admit that he would never master the zip.
An irritating berk at times, but no denying what he's done for the game in this country. He should have gone a couple of years ago but his rivalry with Fergie was epic.
The man is an absolute legend and one of the most kind-hearted, dignified and statesmanlike people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Was a privilege to be able to cover two seasons of his time there at such close quarters. Hope he gets the send-off he so deserves.
Apparently the he said "This place just isn't the same without DTLW around, so it is time to step down"
This. But also blamed everything else apart from his **** team selection for their result today. Including having a go at West Brom for not watering their pitch enough
Jurgen Klopp to Sky Sports: "We controlled it pretty well, their only opportunity was with set pieces, the rest we defended really well. "The whole game was a plot on the goalkeeper, everyone loves it in this country, but it makes life difficult for the goalie. "It was a difficult game as the pitch got drier and drier. West Brom decided not to water the pitch at half-time and that makes it difficult. "It makes a massive difference. A team like West Brom do not need a wet pitch, they can do it next year playing on a dry pitch in the Championship." Obviously West Broms fault, they should have played to Liverpools strengths.
