I think bringing back Freeman, Scowen and Pawel should improve us from Preston.

 

Scenario 1 - 20 minutes in, Ingram commits a foul, gives away a penalty and gets sent off - Smithies comes on. 2nd half, club gets call that his wife is in labour, he has to leave and we've got no replacement.

Scenario 2 - 30 minutes in, Ingram gets injured and Smithies comes on as sub. 2nd half, club gets call that his wife is in labour, he has to leave and we've no replacment.

Scenario 3 - 30 minutes in, club gets call wife is in labour and Smithies has to leave. In 2nd half, Ingram either gets injured or sent off, and we have no replacement.

All three can be avoided by either Smithies starting (can then be subbed if club gets call) or not being in the match day squad.
