You met him a lot didn't you at one time? I met him a few times around the same time, he's a good friend of someone I know, and he seemed a decent bloke.
Not to sound a bit racist, but I've dealt with travellers before. When I ran my pub in Leicester, I accepted an offer to host a christening for a traveller family. They paid cash, a lot of it, which was nice. Around halfway through, a van pulled up, a load of blokes with bats ran in and an enormous fight ensued, which smashed two of my windows and some furniture. And a few faces. Riot van was called in, the locals got out and we locked them inside the pub until the cozzers arrived. That was a one off for me, as some travelling folk I've met have been nice people. I'm not saying that'll happen at Ferriby, but there's an air of intimidation and unwelcoming around their sites that people vibe off, it'll render the play park pretty much off limits to anybody who doesn't live on the site. Mental idea. He's eaten a lump of E. Coli and sprayed **** out of his mouth at 300 mph.
I can't see any correlation between how nice he is and how ****ing mental his running of a football club is.
There's absolutely no way this will happen. There are some very influential residents in North Ferriby. He knows it wont happen, he just likes to make a noise, massages his embarrassingly inflated ego.
