They have a virus that wiped out several players. DJ still has it; Bothroyd is still recovering. Who is Van De Moen? I think you mean Vaagan Moen - Norwegian, not Dutch. Perone did okay today at CB - much better than he played in pre-season friendlies.

jaybothroyd Jay bothroyd9 I've been fighting a virus yes but feel much better now , obviously after last week the team couldn't be changed ... Fans were quality again. I thought Perone looked quiet good today. He's young and needs to learn, which he will do but he also looks like the kind of defender who could get 10 goals in a season from set plays. Van Moen is still on the fringe and unlikely to make it.
Bothroyd looked dangerous the minute he came on. I was dismayed to see him out wide but he was a revelation. Every corner he looked superb and was unluckynot to score. Tighten that bloody midfield up and we're a different team. Until then we can't afford to get caught in possession. This was Wigan imagine man ure?!?!
Sorry, the first paragraph is me posting what J said on twitter, the rest was my opinions. Uber, half the team came down with a virus before the Everton game, most have recovered but DJ, who actually collapsed is still recovering.
