With iimediate effect. Thanks for the service Gary, fanstastic servant for the club and a true legend. But it is the right thin to do and the right time. It was a season or so to long to continue. But cheers mate, you were immence for so many years.

Very underated and often received a lot of unfair criticism from rival fans.

a really great servant of the club, will never forget those great sliding tackles he used to do during his earlier years, have yet to see a player manage better

Cos Sky's offer to replace Andy Gray probably requires him to start straight away.

Such a legend - best and most loyal right back in the Prem. Utd through and through. Can't wait to see him on Sky claiming that our goals are all onside and that it clearly *was* a pen ;)

I just made a thread about this, scanned the page but missed this one. DOH.

Best of luck to Neville in the future, he's been a great player. Best right back in Premier league history.

Its not just Neville retiring. He is the first of the 'kids' to retire.

    G.Neville
    P.Neville
    Butt
    Scholes
    Beckham

Start of the end of a great period in Manchester United's history.
