Nice wee off licence near there. Might have to nip into the Manna House later for a pastry. <stalker>
The 'offie' must be struggling with Sainsbury's now selling quite a few foreign and craft beers at much cheaper prices. They do however sell Fruh Kolsch (Koln) and Rauchbier (Bamberg) which Sainsabubbles have not got round to stocking. There is another not bad off licence down the road on the other side. Also Morrisons is a great boozer for a gab about football; great picture of the 'King' - Willie Bauld at the back. LATE EDIT: spelled Willie Bald incorrectly. Believe it or not there is a 'Willie Bald' Platz in Munchen. Caught the u-bahn there just to have a skinfu' in a local.
Aye; cannae remember having met anyone famous apart from the odd ex-footballer who owns or manages a rubadub. Just remembered one European Cup winner I had a discussion with; Hans-Georg (Katsche) Schwarzenbeck who was Franz Beckenbauer's central defensive 'minder' for the FC Bayern Munchen team who won three consecutive European Cups. Unlike many he settled down to run a newsagents in Munich so while my Mum was ransacking a market I went to see if he was in the shop. Nice guy!
My apologies; not Au Fait with the popular music output from cast members, whether current or passed, from Neighbours numpties. My Antipodean music tastes veer to Midnight Oil, The Church, Jimmy Barnes and Powderfinger. At least you prompted my aging and failing memory of my doe eyed meeting with Katsche Schwarzenbeck! Cheers.
You wouldn't think that a thread about Dale Winton could get any gayer until the Edinburgh Fran and Anna turn up.
Google Dale Winton dead jokes and NOT606 is top of the page, hmmm something fishy going on and Club foot Mick turns up on the same day.
Loved that too but wasn't very successful, will there be more? Asking for a friend who lives in Spain.
