Tbf, everyone has their own opinions about waggy. I for one will be sad when he leaves (as we are preparing silly money for dodge knees maynard) and i reckon it will come back to haunt us. Waghorn imo is a player that always puts 110% into playing. Hes a bit of a bullyboy like hesky and although he may not be "a 20 goal a season" player atm, he will be and we will all be gutted he went.

I really can't see Waggy leaving ever coming back to haunt us. Don't get me wrong, he'll rediscover this scoring form eventually for someone, and he'll probably score past us at some point (he'll raise his game no doubt) -but he's never going to be the 20 goal man that we need.

I'd rather Waggy didn't go play hoofball with Adebola and co.

I'd like him to go to Charlton, have a season on loan with a guy he knows, score a **** load of goals in League one, get promoted with them and come back to the Championship buzzing and back to his best.

He's not going to drop to League One, he has absolutely no need to, he's either going to end up with us or Southampton, with a permanent deal at Southampton currently looking the most likely.

And we don't play hoofball, if anything, we've been trying to play too much pretty football and we haven't been direct enough.

    This.

It doesn't matter if he comes back to haunt us, he's not going to make it here and Sven is under too much pressure to give out of form players a chance. Even without Maynard, there at least 3 strikers ahead of him in the pecking order, that's based on form.

We wouldnt lose anything from loaning him out. As stated above, id prefer him to go to a leauge one team even if until jan. If he was to go to a championship club, sorry to say, loan to hull. Manager he knows, striker he earned promotion with. Bit of time there and he will come back a differant striker. Please stay waggy!!!!

BertLcfc #lcfc's Martyn Waghorn will soon be reunited with old boss Nigel Pearson. Sorry Southampton and derby fans!

BertLcfc By the end of the transfer Martyn Waghorn will be a ram or a saint....

I would loan out waggy but if he's not entirely happy and would prefer a permanent move then I wouldn't stand in his way, I'd prefer him to go to hull on loan but if he were to go permanent and he regains the form that we seen in his first season, then I think we might regret it depending on the position we would be at that moment in time, regarding players, the table etc

Another ex-Leicester player coming to us then?

So we now have 5 ex-Utd players and 3 ex-Leicester players.....

We should be playing in red and blue stripes!

I'm not sure he'll return to you, you'll be looking at proven performers at around the £5m+ mark.

It could be that we are having another "try before you buy" deal like Hobbs.

I think you should have mad more of an effort with CMS from Peterborough. He's looking brilliant at Brighton. We, obviously, couldn't afford him.

Do you really need Danns? Maybe you should loan him to us too?

Waghorn will be good for you if he can regain his belief, Nigel should be the man to do that <ok>

CMS is a poacher, we don't need a poacher.

And yeh, we kind of do need Dannzy :)

Maybe, but remember this guy has just been selected for the U21's.

I'd be surprised if he is sold for less than 1.5m because he is a talent, it's just we havn't got time to waste for him to get his confidence back.
