Last 3 games have been shocking..they look mentally and physically drained. Not good enough, this is the business end of the season.

Kane should be on the bench on Saturday, he's not fit.

One eye on the cup kind of performance is the best I can say to defend that lacklustre performance.

Lloris should have done better with that pen...he has zero aggression in him and it shows him up.

    Aurier...got no brain wtf

Wanyama looked good, Son looked busier than usual.

The intensity level needs to be much higher or we can forget Saturday

Absolutely pathetic display by Spurs. So many misplaced passes. We hardly created any chances all game.

Two awful games in a row now going into an Fa cup semi.
Eriksen, Son and Kane have all gone off the boil.
Are they going to let us down again when it matters? They need to buck their ideas up PDQ.

I doubt we'll play like that in other games to be fair.

Today was just clearly an off day due to attention being on the semi. Poor nonetheless though.

Eriksen had hit 5 goals in 4 games before today. Hardly say he's gone off the boil, poor game today but clearly focused on Saturday.

Kane shouldn't even be playing because he's clearly not fit.

Son looked quite bright in periods today, won us the goal through hard work.

  7. That's a sad indictment of some of those out there then. Not sure we can just switch it back on when we want to. It was veryv very poor.

Gotta think that prior to today and City, we were on an absolute roll. Demolished Chelsea, dominated Arsenal, drew away to Pool, beat Utd etc.

We were poor against City but today's performance, as annoying as it is, was down to poor focus more than anything. It's annoyingly understandable because no player would wanna miss the semi through injury. No one gave 100% today.

Also worth taking into account that Brighton defended with 9-10 men in periods, not forgetting that pitch was ridiculously slippery.

I'm pissed at the display and the fact we didn't try cementing our top four spot but I suppose we should've expected this type of performance so close to the semi final.

EDIT - And to add, if it weren't for that ****ing donkey at the back, we'd have probably left with 3 points.

Hopefully some of our remaining opponents won't give a crap and will already be on the beach.
We need to avoid joining them and force a strong finish to the season.

I've never seen players from both sides slip so much. They've obviously over-watered it to the point where studs aren't getting stuck in enough, was like bambi on ice far too many times.

Aurier is showing no sign of improving.
He has made so many crucial mistakes with out learning from any of them.

as bad a performance as it was we got a valuable point...we didn't really deserve a point...they created more in my opinon ...we needed 9 points from 5 matches to guarantee 4th so now we need 8 from 4.

I don't like rating players off after one season but I'm done with him.

I don't really think Brighton tested us much to be honest, they were all half chances. Reality is, if that donkey didn't clip the Brighton's players ankles, we probably would've left with three points, deservedly or not.

    Load of rubbish tonight unfortunately.

Fair play to Brighton though. Fully deserved it.

Can see us getting turned over with ease in the semi final.

I'm not sure that playing well going into semi-finals or finals means too much and United aren't pulling up any trees at the moment either. We've drawn with Brighton away. They've just lost at home to WBA and tomorrow, go to Bournemouth, who are a proper handful at home. Neither side is in the zone and it's going to come down to who has 'it' on the day. It usually does. Let's try and make it us this time.

As for the league placing, I should expect that 4th place is all that's realistically left to us and now, we're looking down instead of up at third or second. Apart from the semi-final, Chelsea's next 3 games are Burnley [A] ; Swansea [A] ; Liverpool [H]. For varying reasons, those games won't be gimme's and Chelsea's form ain't great, either, to put it mildly.

Just for a little perspective, Brighton have only lost four home games this season.
It was a crap performance, don't get me wrong, but we still got more points from it than Arsenal have away all year.

Spurs were on a great run of form and Utd stepped it up v City when it mattered.
But in the one game each has played since, it would seem that reality has kicked in that top four has been secured and the whole season now rests on progressing in the Cup. Both have played well within themselves.
The drawback is that it's difficult to play at the top of your game when you've been in testimonial mode for the last couple of weeks.
