Roberto Soldado - Predator out in Spain, class scoring record, was doing well for Spanish national side... Couldn't hit a ****ing barndoor with us. Paulinho - Came with huge hype, just won the Brazilian league and Copa Libertadores, voted 3rd best player in the Confed Cup, started really well for us but once AVB got to grips with him he turned to ****, AVB ****ed up so many players it was a joke. If Poch had signed Paulinho, I reckon he'd be a permanent fixture in our XI right now.

Yeah I'd second that, Kroos is quality. FWIW Pogba's still a good player but Jose's a terrible manager for him... Not that we'd be able to afford him but I reckon Pogba would be immense for us.
Wanted to give him benefit of the doubt due to his impressive time at Porto but he just couldn't hack English football. It took a solid two years for Poch to dismantle and rebuild the **** he left behind.
He's still respected by Spurs fans because despite being **** he always gave 100% and we can fully respect that. In a weird way though his signing turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because if he was even half as good as what we needed him to be, Kane might likely would not have been given the chances he had.
i actually think modric is the better pair between kroos and him. saying that though modric is 4 years older.
The player I was most gutted about leaving us. Best player I've seen put on a Spurs shirt, made football look too easy.
i said bakayoko would be an upgrade. I said Matic would do okay but isn't world class. He's a solid player, designed to stop the opposition but wouldn't bring creativity as thats what we struggled with. Probably should have watched bakayoko play first rather than listen to people calling him a beast
