Genius. Pure Genius by Wenger, if he pulls this off.

    Free kick

This guy is a 26 year old. Finally, a proven striker. Any football manager players will know him, because he's always been good for me.

    LOOK AT THIS GUY!

Remember Arshavin? You know, the Arshavin who played for us in the 08-09 season. The one who destroyed liverpool. I'd compare him to this guy. Chu Young is going to own the premiership this season.

If I haven't sold him enough, he is the 20 goal a season striker that we've needed for ages in case Van Persie gets injured.

This seemingly shows that Bendtner is on his way out now. And with Joel Campbell, this could signal the end of Vela too.

    Future will probably be:

    Van Persie
    Chu Young
    Campbell
    Chamakh

Oh, and we've ****ing signed someone. YES!

Hmmm. Doesn't look too amazing too be honest. And surely we need less Arshavins and more poacher/target men? Unless this guy is instead of hazard or gourcuff which wouldnt please too many.
And if this infuriates Lille enough that we can't get hazard I won't be particularly happy!
All in all, I'm not too enthralled by this bit of news. Although I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Looks like another Chamakh to me.

In all seriousness, he looks like a Dirk Kuyt that can take free kicks

    Seems like a weird signing.

He's a good player but more of a support striker. We dont need another one of those! - we need someone who can replcec RVP down the middle when he's injured.

For me the message is - Vela and Chamakh have had their chances - prepare for goodbye - maybe next season.

  9. Perhaps we may after all maintain a second team of youngsters to field solely in the Carling Cup ;)

probably a decent back up striker, probably not too expensive either and will help us break the korean market

Maybe he's signing him so he can do a swap deal with Lille for Hazard - great thinking Wenger!!!!

He is a good player but someone to take Arsenal to the next level?? I personally think it will be hit or miss. Looked good for Monaco and even better when playing for S.Korea, however... he did just get relegated with Monaco to Ligue 2.

I havent seen him hardly at all (under 10 times). I would imagine 99% of arsenal fans are the same, and most on here. We have to trust wenger, and it will help us sell shirts in korea too

Hardly prolific - 25 goals in 92 games?

Bendtner's gpg ratio is better than that...

Have to say, I still rate Bendtner, he always made a difference when he came on.

    But 1 in 4 is a good ratio <ok>
