Very good that the players are joining in with all this, sows good sense of humour and comradery between the group.

A thoroughly dominant and professional performance. Couldn’t ask for much more really.

I think everyone is really stepping up - TAA and Ox were the standouts and Hendo was good in the middle.

Our front 3 delivered again. Our backline is looking more solid and Karius doing the basics well.

Might seem strange considering some of our results but I thought this was probably our most dominant all round performance of the season.

Great performances all over the park but yet again firmino was the player that stood out as being head and shoulders above the rest. People will worry about offers for Salah (as will I) but I think we will have a fight to keep Bobby also.

yeah there wasn't one moment in the game when there felt like the slightest threat to us - which was nice.
Just think the team set up is much better now and that i think came about by the Coutinho sale in that we moved to a more "functional" MF which has improved our defensive record yet we still score at a high rate. Its noticeable that we are nowhere near so vulnerable to just a lump down the pitch for a forward to chase as we don't commit so many forward ,unless it is appropriate, where half the time they just constricted the space available making it easier for defenders.

Thankfully, Bournemouth didn't attempt a ****ing thing until 2-0 down.

That flappy save from Karius was horrible.
Another day, another opponent, and we would be having a conversation about Mignolet v Karius.

Got to agree with that. He could have simply caught that - shades of that ludicrous 'punch' he did against Spurs that led to their equaliser.

Karius still sares the crap out of me but we have to stick with him - well at least till the start of next season.

I think Karius has been very good in the last 2 or 3 months...........I think its something like 9 clean sheets in the last 13 or so.

Saves v Newcastle and Everton (Bolasie) have been outstanding

Agreed. Because of his shaky start, every tiny thing will be picked up and critiqued. If thenworse we can say about him is a ‘flappy’ save which he pushed clear and didn’t go in then I’ll take that every game.

No ones mentioning Cech being beaten at his near post. Courtois has a shocking run wher he got megged every game a month ago, nothing said.

Lloris concedes a pen and should be sent off, nothing said.

Karius has been solid solid since he’s come back in. Yeah he’s not been perfect but no keeper is perfect, even de gea who is a god amongst keepers has dodgy moments during games.

Yep. Meanwhile De Gea throws the ball into his own net every other game but he's still #worldclass
