Had enough, SERIOUSLY HAD ENOUGH of this joker. This is the player who put a flag on his chest and said to Manchester United saying 'come and get me'. On the strength of today's performance, I doubt they'd let him make the tea.

He came in last year and was given all the time in the world to get fit and be ready. We all gave him that time, but not without a few questions being asked of our absentee record signing. He missed the pre-season because, as we were told he wasn't ready. I thought against Liverpool he looked unfit and generally not at all match ready, now the last 2 games (PL, I missed the League Cup match) confirms this for me. How does Steve Bruce let him get away with it?

There is no excuse, and yes, I know these guys get paid more in one week than most of us earn all year -that's not the point, in my view Asamoah Gyan lacks professionalism!

I don't usually go off on one like this, but after watching him for four and a half hours this season, my blood is starting to boil over. It's an insult to our loyal, passionate and dedicated fans, we deserve better and Asamoah, as far as I am concerned: you can either shape up or f-f-f-fornicate off for good. I am disgusted by all this and he he really ought to be ashamed and disgraced.

I'm still giving him time. He needs a goal but it doesn't look that's going to be an easy thing but there's not a lot I can argue with here Shameless...

he does need a goal and he was trying too hard but if he was more unselfish we could have had 2 tap ins from colback and wickham, very frustrating. His confidence looks shot to bits but as you say he needs a goal

Hes pissing me off too, i dont rate him massively though he can be class but not often, Jones comes to mind!!!

I just dont get why hes so greedy, there were two blatent chances where if he had squared the ball there would have been two goals in it for us and if not two then deffo at least one! Recon hes just playing for himself and wants to score screamers and has no intent to set em up!

Also WTF was Elmo doing beating everyone to the 6 yard box and NOT passing to Wickham, he had already done all the hard work but in the end just ran it out!!!! Whickam was screaming for the ball, another deffo goal! I was ****in fuming at this point!

I like Bruce as a fella but im sorry hes ****e at man management, really ****e!

as for Gyan, people are forgetting what a quality player he is

at the minute he is over weight and unfit

he needs to get himself shaped up and show what he has got, at his best he is outstanding that goal against England was world class, give him time, won't be long before we are singing his praises again.

I've just about ran out of patience with the lad.

If we could swap him for Crouch & Kranjcar, i'd take it.

Just watched the highlights on MOTD, he had 3 chances to play people in, and instead went for piss poor shots.

If someone offers us the money to buy Pappis Demba Cisse for him, eat their ****ing hands, play Cisse and Whickham.

3 games in and we want rid, jesus christ, strikers go through cold patches now and again, how about we give the lad a chance. All the people who are calling Gyan will have been doing exactly the same to Jones but now he has scored a couple they want him back.

I've never turned on any of our strikers before, actually.

I just think for the good of the team, if Gyan went and we got 2 in, say Crouch & Cisse, we'd be better overall.

Surely that makes sense to you?

Yes, but at the moment neither of those players are at our club so I will support the ones that are. Its called form, he is out of it at the moment, why throw a really good player out of the club over a couple of iffy games, what if Crouch and Cisse don't score for 5 games if we sign them, hoy them out too. Plenty of strikers in plenty of teams have not scored yet, does not mean they are ****

I'm not suggesting throwing a player out.

I'm looking at a bigger picture and how the club overall would benefit, e'll all agree Gyan isn't ever gonna be more than a 12-15 striker, we need more than that.

I like Gyan, but if the deal was right for us, or the players coming in where right, then i'd be very tempted indeed.

Make your mind up BB, first you have ran out of patience with him (after 3 games) and want to sell and replace him bit you also like him.
I would like to keep him and bring another striker in and keep Gyan. If you don't think 12-15 goals is good enough your a hard task master, how many strikers scored more than 15 goals last season.

Probably the wrong choice of words in my initial post, but i'm sure you see my point? I said 'just about ran out of patience', he's unfit, and he never passes the ball, i didn't say 'he's ****'.

I liked Jordan, but there was a benefit overall to the team by him moving on.

I like Gyan, but i see similar benefit, the team needs goals, and at the minute Asa doesn't look the man to get them.

Give him a chance, he will come good. I agree we need a poacher but they are few and far between and with only days of the transfer window left I don't think more player upheaval is the answer. The boy Cisse looks good and I think Crouch would bring the best of of Gyan, would love to see either and 2 up front.

Cisse is the one mate, i'm guessing the only way we would be able to pay for him is for Gyan to go, and maybe this is clouding me a bit.

I'm sure Gyan will come good, i just fear that even if he does, his goals output will be less than we need.

Only need 1 goal to win a game mate. As soon as he gets his first more will come and we are supposed to be scoring goals from midfield now, jury is out but after 3 games we don't have much to go on on that score. Gardner missed the easiest chance today, should of buried that header.
Gyan looks a little off the pace but lets not throw the baby out with the bath water.

Don't see why that should be a problem, Bruce is net even on fees or more or less so lets get him in. Short is getting off a little lightly for me, lets see some net spending (I am not in anyway crticising Short, we have a very well run club)
