Following on from my recent rant, I thought I would start a thread dedicated to the ****s of the world. Basically, name your **** and give a reason.

I'll start with me! Yes, that's right, I am a **** and for a number of reasons:
a) I am a grumpy ****
b) I am a pedantic ****
c) I am a ****y ****.

Not sure this is a suitably named thread, personally I find that a very distasteful word, I know it's become trendy to use it and for some reason its become acceptable on TV. Maybe I'm just getting old.

PS I realise that Sheff's post is tongue in cheek.....

It's an everyday word up here in Scotland, and is used to describe multiple types of people, both good and bad. However, I find that down in England they find it the most offensive of swear words......

I completely understand your viewpoint. No offence meant to you or anyone else who posts on here. As you say, it is tongue in cheek. I used the asterisks with those who may take offence very much in mind.

 

I **** abide that word either.

 

Pretty much agree with Shefford except the lorry driver one mate, bit harsh on us delivery boys that have no choice but to kip in our wagons and in my case sleeper van, just remember everything you wear, eat, drive, sit on, cook with,build with, fuel up with and even the car you drive was delivered by a lorry/van driver.
We’re not all wannabe pikeys or c***ts And because of driving laws we sometimes have no choice to kip in lay-bys as services can cost upwards of £35 a night.

 

As I said to the policeman who stopped me on suspicion of drink-driving..............."I haven't touched a **** all day drinkstable"!
