You agreed with me Not sure whether to celebrate this morning or to revisit my posts and see how many more feck ups I made
Watched the game on the box. Could clearly see why we beat you (twice) but how the **** did we lose last Tuesday to them - they are truly piss poor for the money they've spent. Two indifferent sides - Leeds because you seem to have no direction on or off the pitch, and Villa because they've got a far higher opinion of themselves than the facts support. If we (Cardiff) get pipped by an excellent Fulham side for an auto spot, the only club I'd worry about in the palyoffs are Millwall should they make it. All the talk of "momentum" for the the other likely candidates hoping to get up there is bollocks, and those already in possession of a playoff spot are strugglers. There, I've said it now.
Strange conclusion to draw doc, that because the subs don’t warm up it means the players don’t rate the manager? Fans see what they want to see... the reality of what goes on in the lives of the players and coaching staff, behind the 90 minutes we get to see is complete conjecture. But as a rule of thumb, players like managers who pick them.
I rarely talk up or critisise any individual player but I believe these 3 lads are exceptional bearing in mind their ages and experience. It is my opinion and you are entitled to disagree.
It may be over the top but I am struggling to think when we had a goalie who did better than BPF last night. O’Connor did well and has attitude, we have too many jesse’s in my view. The LB Pearcebus very raw but he had a good opponent and did well. They are good enough for me already to be wondering when we’ll sell them
PH needs to go, last night finally got me over the line. He played players who stuck up two fingers at him (and at the fans and club) and said fck you I’m being paid whatever - he should have stopped playing those players a few games ago they are poison. Should not be on the bench. Chesh cAn come on if we need someone.
Positives Peacock-Farrell Pearce O'Connor. Still in the game at 1-0 Our superb support once again Negatives Lack of attacking threat Woeful passing Only two shots on target Hernandez's poorest game in a while, shame as Pablo makes us tick Pennington's non-challenge for Villa's goal Dallas is still not a RB, unsure what he is to be honest Not a fan of Roofe but we were worst when he was subbed Ekuban a waste of space Lassoga - the lump couldn't be arsed to applaud our fans, straight down the tunnel at the final whistle Grot what is the point Kalvin's new haircut Vieira still gives the ball away Saiz one sublime pass & that was it Alioski's shot on target in the first few minutes & that was his lot for the night Still convinced we have four League One strikers on our books & that's being generous Villa were nothing special Another defeat 8 Peacock-Farrell 5 Dallas 7 O’Connor 6 Pennington 8 Pearce 5 Phillips 5 Vieira 4 Alioski 5 Hernandez 5 Roofe 1 Ekuban Subs 5 Saiz 0 Grot 0 Lasogga
Lassoga has been a real disappointment no doubt, pity as he can clearly score goals but just doesn't appear fit to me. Grot I just don't get. Why is he part of the 1st team squad (ahead of others you've named) when he clearly isn't ready. I have some sympathy for him because I think the club are ruining the player by playing him too soon. You could see that by his goals in his spell with the U23s.
Indeed Grot is nowhere near ready at this level As for Lassoga it is unbelievable that he is earning 55k a week.....for what ?
It's official. We're the worst team in the league this year bar none. The problems at this club run far deeper than Heckingbottom. #lufc
So why play Grot? They are killing the lad, and then he'll be yet another that turns into a good player with coaches that develop him properly
